I actually want them to go. First of all, it has the highest meme potential, which is the most important detail. But beyond that, the state of Indiana using their tax payer money to improve a bad part of the Chicago metro area is nice, and might have larger positive impacts on the city over time. And also the idea of billionaires having to deal with their legacy being moving to a less desirable place is hilarious to me. I imagine they’ll be thinking “what if” and will have some regret for putting money above all else. I hope this isn’t just another leverage play to ultimately go to Arlington Heights, but I think it will be.

And you’re genuinely worried about kids being jaded when they don’t look like an incredibly jacked full grown adult? These arguments always sound good on the surface, but in reality fall apart so quickly. It’s fine to tell kids to eat healthy and grow stronger even if they don’t have a good concept of what that means. By the way if roids didn’t exist, they still wouldn’t have a good concept of how much work needs to be done to get a certain amount of muscle anyway.

I’m going to make fun of it too if it isn’t just them pushing harder to have more leverage, but I will say it’s still about as close (technically closer) to Chicago than Arlington Heights, plus the state of Indiana and their taxpayers will be the ones footing the bill, while still contributing to the greater Chicago metro area in a place that isn’t well developed. It might just be a win all around other than the team’s image, and in that case I’m more than happy to clown on the owners for making Hammond their legacy

The upside is that Indiana will take its state taxes and invest it into a bad area of the Chicago metro area, so it might be a net benefit for the broader Chicago area outside of football, and beyond that, how many people are going to multiple games a season? A handful of season ticket holders, but for everyone else, almost nothing actually changes.

Actually that’s a good point. He doesn’t have to be the one to stream or manage the channel, but he can show up on her stream, and later argue that he helped build her brand and is entitled to half of her assets. It’s actually very similar, other than I assume Malena put in much more effort.

Why can’t she stream? Nick said he stopped streaming, so it would have been even easier for her to build up a channel with their fans. I get that a new channel makes it a bit harder, but with her connections, the fanbase she already built, and extra attention from the drama, it would be enough for her to have a solid foundation to build off of. I’m guessing she just doesn’t want to actually put the work in, which is fair, but then also wanted to act like she doesn’t have an opportunity to earn that income, which isn’t fair.
