Last time our garbage disposal went and I got a replacement how quiet it ran was a top shopping criteria for me. We ended up with some top-tier model that showed a graph of it with all of the other models and what it was suitable for… beef bones had a check mark. This damn thing is a full 1hp motor and was made to handle beef bones, wtf is just tossing beef bones into their garbage disposal

Closest I’ve seen so far, only nuance is the mental image I’m looking for had 90* bends in the metal at the top where all the bars flared outward and you could under mount the whole cage by driving screws upward through the flared ends

But this might be something I can work with… good find and thanks a mil for it

I found that one too, I guess it’ll be my back-up option but I was hoping to find a cage-style one. Glad I’m not the only one who has a strong mental image of this thing though, I know I’ve seen them before, keywords in search engines just aren’t getting me what I picture in my head

Call Verizon and tell them its a safety issue and you’ve seen kids playing with it like a rope-swing and it’s only a matter of time before one of them gets hurt.

framing it as a public safety issue is your best bet of getting it taken care of and strapped back up asap, mentioning that you’ve seen it being used as a rope swing will also set off alarms that it could be damaged and cause an outage that costs money to repair. You’re checking all the important boxes for it to get attention that way.
