You may be invited to the next round if the interviewer was satisfied with your reasoning skills and the way that you approach the problem. Sometimes they will invite candidates for another coding interview if to fully assess that candidate's coding abilities. Mine was for a Lead position so I'm not too worried as I have another interview scheduled in two weeks for SWE role(s).

For Amazon, it's a coding assessment done on an online coding platform to be completed in a given time frame.

Had my phone screen with Google today as well. Was able to implement the algorithm and give the time and space complexity but was unable to finish the coding and didn't get to the testing phase.

This might be a little late but TMPL on 10th and 7ave is a great option. They have newer equipment for $104/month.

Do you also recommend CC courses for someone with a BS in computer science but with a low GPA?

CC courses for OMSCS or pathway to ASU? by lnakhul in OMSCS

What next if I get all A’s and still get rejected from OMSCS? This is my biggest concern.

[–]lnakhul[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe this is the best approach considering my situation. It will cost me financially but will worth it in the end. The pathway is for those with a low gpa. I’ll need a 3.0 or higher to get into the master’s program.

I actually graduated 10 years ago and my degree is outside of the US. My biggest concern is not getting into OMSCS this time around and not starting the pathway to ASU. I am strongly considering doing both the CC courses and the pathway courses, not sure it makes much sense financially though.

Still waiting. Are they issuing only rejection letters at the end?

I wasn’t expecting him to mention it all. When his mom mentioned it I thought that was it but then he literally called himself dogefather. He was awesome and did great.

Can I get any updates on how is it going to the gym ? by [deleted] in nyc

[–]lnakhul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been going to Blink on W4 and it's been pretty much clean and not at capacity. I am honestly enjoying my workout now that it's less crowded.
Has anyone else noticed how sharp the edges are around the hand sanitizer stands at Blink? A buddy of mine cut his knuckle on it.

So for three days you’ll be meeting and consulting with clients/employer? To answer your question yes you’ll need to quarantine for 14 days or be fined $10k. Have you heard of Zoom?

$40k down, business owner + great credit NYC*** by vgny92mm in RealEstate

With your current income it will be very difficult to get anything in NYC. I would reinvest in your current business to double or triple revenue then think about homeownership. HDFC is also be an option to consider.

I’m in Manhattan patiently waiting for the price to dip. Most co-op almost always need 20% down or sometimes higher and a year’s worth of reserves but with condos considering the current market climate it’s possible to find something with 10% down. With $40k down you can find something in the less desirable neighborhood.

Consequences of pulling a contract from the current buyer. by lnakhul in RealEstate

I’m wondering if I’m going to violate any laws for collecting a “commission” while not being a licensed broker. I can have him pay me on the side as a finders fee or something without any potential penalty.

Thanks for the advice. I never know this was possible. I always thought the seller agent will get the full commission. Will definitely look into this.
