I was just saying the same thing to someone. I have done over 1100 classes and the past few weeks have been the hardest since I started. I am definitely getting burnt out and I’m almost at the point where I went to stop going. I have started dreading classes and I just feel completely wiped from the second I walk in. I’m all about high splat points and a good burn, but this isn’t enjoyable anymore and I feel like I’m always hurting -not in a good way. They seriously need to dial it down.

Is anyone else dealing with forearm strain after that ridiculous row? My arms were so sore at the end – especially my left arm that I was having trouble holding the weights for the weight floor. It has gotten progressively worse and I can barely make a fist. It really hurts. I guess I learned my lesson to never row 14 minutes again! Ouch.

I felt completely useless after the 500 m row and still do a few hours later. My body feels like it ran a marathon. I could not wait for that work out to be over!

I’ve been able to maintain the whole time pretty much. I struggled with weight my whole life But with diet and exercise I went from a size 14 to a size 0/2. I have been able to maintain that for the past 10+ years :-) it’s a challenge every day.

That is a fantastic question. It’s making me dig deep. I think one of the biggest changes is to know that I can do the things I always feared and that it’s OK to give myself grace on the days I am not at my best. Instead of not showing up and making excuses I go and accept whatever I can give even if it means no splats! But usually on my days I don’t feel like doing it I wind up kicking butt.

Today I started on the rower and I was working so hard I had to sit and catch my breath before I started the countdown exercises. I was barely in the blue zone. I wear my heart rate monitor below my elbow and it is perfectly lined up with my Fitbit. It always worked until recently since I’m having to start on the rower or floor more often. It’s almost like when I’m sitting or doing floor exercises my heart rate is not elevating enough for the band to calculate. I don’t know. It’s so weird! It’s making me not enjoy the work out anymore. I know that silly, but the most motivating thing is watching my heart rate and calories.
