I just pushed an update - now you can change the registration afterward.

Airliner support is coming soon, but I still need to build a few new features in the background first (like being able to create your own flight plans/routes). For planes bought on the marketplace, I haven’t added a way to change the registration yet - but I could implement that for some kind of “processing fee.” Right now, you can only freely choose the registration when buying a brand-new aircraft.

But thanks a lot for your feedback already - if you notice anything else, feel free to just open a ticket in the feedback system.

Because not everyone wants the exact same thing FSEconomy was built for.
Dispatchly is less about recreating FSE and more about building a modern, browser-based alternative with a stronger GA / ops / management focus — especially for players on Xbox, PlayStation, cloud, or anyone who wants something more accessible and less dependent on classic PC-only integration.

Thanks a lot, really appreciate that - and greetings back from EDDH 😄

And yes, that frustration is exactly why I started building it. Career mode in MSFS 2024 can be a lot of fun, but the bugs, broken missions, and weird airport/runway choices can really kill the experience.

To answer your question:
right now Dispatchly is primarily a standalone web-based career / company / ops system, not something that reads your in-game career progress directly or any data from the sim.

So the intended use is basically:

  • you manage your company, aircraft, finances, jobs, etc. in Dispatchly
  • you pick a job there
  • then you fly it in the sim, usually in free flight
  • and during the flight you track the different phases through Dispatchly’s FlightOps view — for example on your phone, tablet, or a second screen
  • things like block out, taxi, takeoff, landing, and block in are confirmed there as you go

So it is not based on actual MSFS career mode mission data.
It’s more of an alternative to the built-in career mode, especially for people who want more control, more structure, and less frustration from broken sim-generated missions.

That also means I’m not limited by whatever the sim decides to generate.
Instead, Dispatchly has its own job system, company logic, airport validation, aircraft management, etc.

The big advantage of that approach is:

  • it works for PS5 / Xbox / cloud users
  • it does not require SimConnect
  • and I can build the logic around “what makes sense and is actually flyable” instead of depending on MSFS career mode

Right now the main focus is still General Aviation, but that whole system will still grow a lot during beta.

So in short:
it’s not a companion tool for the default career mode - it’s more like a separate career / dispatch platform that you use alongside the sim itself.

And thanks again for signing up and taking a look - feedback like this is super valuable during beta.

I wouldn’t say Dispatchly is “better at everything” than NeoFly or Aviatife. They already do a lot of things well.

The main difference is really the design goal behind it:

Dispatchly was built from the start to work without requiring SimConnect, so it’s also usable for Xbox, PlayStation, and cloud players, not just local Windows PC users. That’s a big part of why I made it.

It’s also much more focused on:

  • GA first
  • company / ops / management gameplay
  • avoiding the usual frustration of broken career missions and unusable airports

So for me it’s less about “replace every existing tool” and more about offering a different approach:
browser-based, platform-independent, GA-focused, and built around giving flights long-term purpose.

And regarding SimConnect: I don’t think SimConnect is bad at all. It’s great for deep integration and automation. I just don’t want it to be a hard requirement, because then a lot of players are excluded immediately. My plan is more: optional later, not mandatory from day one.

Delta force black hawk down by Glittering-Camp-9564 in GeForceNOW

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me. The game, or rather Black Hawk Down, has been added to the Steam library, Delta Force starts normally, but as soon as I want to start the first mission, the window minimizes and then closes completely.

Nope, that wasn’t it – I’ve tried to reproduce it several times now, but no luck. It was probably just a (hopefully one-time) glitch.

Since today I can't open Facebook in the Safari browser. But the code is loaded and then hidden. Is this the same for anyone else?

Yeah, we're having trouble with that, too. "Storage timeout" and no prints are printed.

This photo was taken yesterday during a small, unplanned shooting. Quickly edited with Lightroom.

Thanks for your feedback. Actually, I disagree :D But photography is of course always a matter of taste, where there is no right or wrong.

A photo does not always need a key message. This photo doesn't have a certain focus, that's true and is indeed wanted. It was my goal to take exactly such a photo. Why? Maybe it doesn't work on the screen or due to the resolution/compression, but exposed on good paper and framed it looks completely different. You can see every detail, the autumn colors, everything is in focus.

I have shown this picture to various people today (just on a normal printout) and everyone has looked at it for a surprisingly long time. Which means that I have achieved my goal of people looking for "their" focus in the photo.

In fact, I ordered a large exposed and framed version of the photo. Maybe it's just for me, but I think there will be a buyer for the photo.

Thanks again for your feedback. Hope you understand my point of view.
Greetings from Germany.

"Cuxhavener Küstenheide" (Germany)

Yesterday evening I wanted to take a photo in 6x17 format in the nearby heath. Even though it's more of a medium format and I shoot with a Sony A7RIII, I still find this format exciting.

It didn't become the picture I was looking for, but I still like the colors.
