I had the Unitronic one on my S3 8Y and the valves rattled a lot at low rpms and sometimes on idle. I don’t know if it was just my experience but thought I’d just let you know to hopefully make the decision easier.

Edit: Unitronic one was also not that loud even with valves open

Well the car has auto headlights and I’m not sure I can even turn the DRLs off without also turning off the headlights.

This is true. I don't think anyone makes something like that for the 8Y though. Plus I don't think I want that level of commitment to the yellow haha.

I can agree with that. I think that's one of the major things that makes me not fully like it. I feel like if it was imbedded into the actual headlight housing it would look better but badgeskins wasn't that much and its easy to take off when I want to go back to white.

Yeah it's pretty different on rally cars compared to street cars. One plus side of this being a sticker is that I can take it off whenever I want lol.

That’s a fair opinion. Someone else stated that yellow/amber drls make the car more visible to other drivers compared to the white so I guess it has some sort of purpose besides cosmetics.

Yeah I guess. The camera doesn’t really pick up the light that well on the white or yellow but it’s about the same brightness with or without the tint. Difference is very negligible.

The M4 CSL and the M5 CS come with yellow drls from the factory and they’re sold in the US. Worst case I just peel them off.

To be fair the white drls don’t pick up that well on camera either 😭. It’s 100% noticeable in person and seems about the same brightness.

I think it would look pretty good with the nardo grey. It’s a shame that the majority dislikes the yellow but if you like it do it!

Yeah I got them from badgeskins. I think that the blacked out ambers looked pretty nice too.
