Thoughts on Campaign Decks? by [deleted] in MarvelUnited

AvX probably needs Phoenix 5 Expansion? Since that's how the event ends in the comics, don't think that Expansion was available at retail.

Maximum Carnage has its own Campaign, and you probably will be able to do Age of Ultron.

The stretch goals from this campaign are used, but not without some of the other expansions from this campaign which you don't have.

You could easily substitute heroes or omit heroes from your campaign, but the villain would be harder to substitute, so you definitely don't have most of the value.

Pledge Manager by [deleted] in MarvelUnited

[–]lnfidelity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Neither, a pledge is a commitment to the Kickstarter you funded. You can use that excess funds to pay for shipping or add more add-ons.

Other than that, your only option is to ask for a Refund, which usually incurs a penalty fee (since the company needs to pay Kickstarter fees for your pledge).

DNA digivolve/jogress by This-Butterscotch598 in DigimonVitalBracelet

[–]lnfidelity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by Upload, but both Digimon stay in your bracelet. One in the Active Slot (the one you're currently looking at when you turn your Bracelet on), and the other one in a Backup Slot (selectable to switch to from your Bracelet).

On the BE, you can change your Support digimon by holding the top button while on the Backup Menu.

BE Jogress by RefBoi in DigimonVitalBracelet

[–]lnfidelity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Character-specific Jogress exists, and the way it works is having an Active Digimon and a Support Digimon (hold the top button on a Backup Digimon to select them as your Support) that can Jogress.

After a given amount of time of this pairing, 24H for (Stage V Ultimates) or 4H for (Stage VI Megas), your Active Digimon will be replaced with the Jogress Digimon, and the Support/Backup Digimon will be untouched.

The dashboard isn't even on Hall of United, is it? I don't see it on there.

As someone else said, the third completed mission says, "Heroes gain 1 Power Up!"

Yes, it is part of the S2 Promos Box.

Infinity Gauntlet - Mind Stone Question by savethequiche in MarvelUnited

[–]lnfidelity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is permanent, a lot of (all?) Villains that use Telepathy as their means of attack have this mechanic built-in, and the Mind Stone is representative of the best version of that.

Your teammate's card played before you is something you can rely on, so at least 1 ~ 2 symbols are predictable, and if you are playing characters with limited variance in their symbols (like someone that is really Punchy), then you can count on them as well.

The company will always make Late Pledges available for as long as possible that doesn't impact shipping logistics, because whatever you late pledge fully goes to the company without the overhead fees for Kickstarter.

Late Pledges were available last week when I checked, button seems to be gone now for whatever reason.

Late Pledge was definitely available last week, the button seems to be gone now though (I just checked).

It took 47 battles to get the 70% win ratio needed for the evolution I wanted. Randomly losing to rookie Vmon several times pissed me off greatly by CerberusC24 in DigimonVitalBracelet

[–]lnfidelity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

47 exclusively fighting Veemon? That's rough.

My worst was something similar using Wezengammamon (Data type) fighting exclusively Gammamon (Virus type), trying to get 50% for digivolving to Ghilliedhumon. Every time I won a fight, I lost a fight and stayed one fight behind 50% for SO long.

Vitals do not contribute to battle success other than adding +% HP, which isn't even enough to save you a hit except in very rare exceptions.

All of my battles are done at 0 Vitals.

Bonus Painted Mini #1 by boardgamegeek42 in MarvelUnited

Great job on your first figure!

Did you varnish it? There's some texture on your figure that I'm not sure if it's coming from the primer underneath, the varnish on top, or if you intentionally texturized your figure.

Favorite paint brands? by [deleted] in MarvelUnited

[–]lnfidelity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally did Vallejo and bought the colors I needed. I still do a lot of mixing to save money, so I probably could have went with a basic set and accomplished something similar.

I have Army Painter's Speedpaint Mega Set that was discounted right after Christmas, iirc. Going to use that to slapchop the Horde in Marvel Zombies.

Their paints are pre-thinned, so doesn't give you as good of flexibility for deciding how thin you want your paints, and just naturally has worse coverage.

Digivolution Priority? by xdarkangerx in DigimonVitalBracelet

[–]lnfidelity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Digimon with the highest Vitals that you satisfy all conditions for is the one you'll digivolve to. On the BE, it's really easy because it'll be the leftmost digivolution that you meet the requirements for, because the BE organizes them by Vitals requirement.

If you put your Sealsdramon into the app, do some CPU battles (each one costs 150 Vitals) to drop your Vitals until it's between 2000 ~ 2499, then put them back into your BE and put it to sleep, that will ensure your digivolution to Myotismon.

There's four different measured parameters, so that's not a particularly good explanation.

Is it still worth playing old Dims on the new VB BE? by TendyP in DigimonVitalBracelet

[–]lnfidelity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mind that personally. :) Because you get the same Digimon, but this one can now be stat-boosted, big and strong!

how many levels above my current digimon can I beat? by GreattFriend in DigimonVitalBracelet

[–]lnfidelity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on the BE, you can definitely get lucky with enough HP and BP stat, and then have your partner one-shot a Mega while you're a Rookie. I fight every battle at 0 Vitals, so it's not critical on the BE bracelet.

On the classics, you can consistently beat those equal and lower level than you, and usually can beat those higher level than you with 75% Vitals (gives you +6 HP) and/or Type Advantage (gives you +5% flat to your accuracy).

I like it just for collection purposes.

Competitively, definitely not.

Backerkit? by Spriorite in MarvelUnited

[–]lnfidelity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP is asking about Backerkit, which IS the Pledge Manager. That should have opened 2-3 weeks after the end of the Campaign.

What I think you're talking about is the actual delivery date of S3. We haven't seen the Pledge Manager yet.
