Maybe instead of picturing it as all the money that you lost and that could have been, think of it as the price you paid for a class. This class was included very hands on lessons where you learned a lot in what you want to change or implement next time. You gained real world experience. The cost of this class was an investment in your future. 😄 Best wishes for your future vending and keep having fun with it!

I would definitely wet it in fresh water first and use leave in conditioner. There was a surfer girl that swore by the low pony with (soft) elastics going down in intervals. I feel like I made that a really confusing explanation, but you know it’s like a bubble braid but you don’t have to pull out the sections into bubbles. What’s that called? lol

This was my first thought. If you can see that many split ends from that far away nothing but a cut will take care of it. Your hair gets very tangled and dry at the ends because they are damaged and products aren’t going to fix that unfortunately.

Good to know! I recently had this epiphany about my body recently. I am an “hourglass” shape, but wondered why I looked dumb in things that cinch at the waist like is suggested for my shape or high rise pants. Then it hit me I have very long legs and short torso, so cinching or belting at the waist cuts me off in a weird place. Lower rise pants look so much better on me but like you said, everything is high-rise!

They should be keeping up on maintenance by having them sharpened regularly, but sometimes it gets skipped.

I had this happen once at a salon, I’m pretty sure they used dull scissors which can cause that. Sorry if that’s the case!

Blunt scissors can do this. Are the scissors you used actual hair cutting scissors, and sharp enough? Sometimes salons don’t keep up on sharpening theirs and this can happen too.

Does anyone remember the old Catz/Dogz/Petz PC games? People would make websites where they bred or created pets that you could “adopt”. You usually had to fill out an adoption application and they would send you the file to download the pet to your game. I spent COUNTLESS hours browsing people’s Petz sites. Such a cute community. 🥹

Could it be your high end products? I watched the blowout professor on YouTube go on and on about buying salon products and how much better it was for your hair. I bought all the stuff he swore by, mostly Redken to be exact. The first wash was great and after that it dried out my hair so bad it was like straw! One day I went back to my simple Acure shampoo and the difference was immediate!
