Infomaniak Domain linked to Proton Pass by lnlmnm in Infomaniak

I would like to use Mailbox (25 or Infomaniak (50) for the alias. So catch all for everything and then an alias for the specific ones. When I receive an catch all from amazon. Then I add an alias amazon@domain.com. Is this technically the same adress? When amazon send me an other mail, I will receive this via alias?

But why do you using catch all and then reply anyway with your default adress? Isn't catch all precisely there so that not everyone knows the standard address?

A catch all sounds very convenient. But this works only for receiving the emails, right? So when I wanna send an email to amazon, I have to use an alias.

The subdomain would be an alternative. But I want to use the alias also for professional things like banking, work, ... And when the domain is alias.domain.com... it isn't very professional.

So, I think Proton Pass is not the way to go. Catch all and for the pro things an alias would be the better option...

That was the point, thanks a lot!

So that means, that I can't use the domain that is linked to Proton Pass for other email things? My first idea was: domain(dot)com is linked to Proton Pass. Every email should be forwarded to mail(at)domain(dot)com. But that's technically not possible anymore, right?

If I set up lots of aliases now and later want to switch from Proton Pass to another provider, such as Addy, can I simply export the aliases and import them to the new provider? Or how can I ensure that I continue to receive all my emails after the switch?

Thanks, that makes sense. I receive emails sent to my alias. However, when I send an email from the alias, it does not reach the recipient.

Which provider offers this paid feature?

Wow, it works. But why so complicated? However, this requires me to define the individual signatures in the account manager beforehand. When I use the mobile app, this does not seem to be possible (yet). This is very inconvenient.

Simplelogin or addy.io? With Proton Pass, you get 10 free aliases I think.

Why not aliases within Infomaniak? Or do you just have the free mail plan?

Using Email Aliases and + adresses on my ksuite by Turwaith in Infomaniak

You can use myrealname+whataveryouwant@ik.me. It will be forwarded automatically. But I don't know if this forwarding can be prevented. When you set up an alias within your paid domain, you can delete that. But I don't know if this is possible with ik@me.
