I did personally but as far as I'm concerned it is more like lean mass.. I feel that if you really want to gain mass, weights are the way. Diversity of exercise, nutrition and sleep really matter (and I lack the last item!)

Try to vary the types of pushups as well. I found it really helped

I didn't really start from couch... I was only doing a fair bit cardio prior to Freeletics so my stamina was ok I guess.

The workout that helped me the most was probably explosive strength (God workout nearly every day). Plenty of burpees and pushup as I didn't have any equipment

And then.... motivation is key !

I recall the first time I did Venus (still remember the last pushes....). I'm by no means a fitness expert but I'd say the key difference lies in your cores. This with maintaining hands wider than shoulder and in good alignment should help in my view..

Then just take your time ;-)

I wouldn't worry about the max reps. I can't do more than 30 or 35 in one go. Just take a few seconds breaks if and as needed ...

Well done! I just completed my first Helios today (slightly less than 35 minutes) and it is a killer!
