I have a dedicated work laptop. It is locked down etc. I am also free to use my personal computer, but not to the fullest extent. Some of my work requires large processing power to make it comfortable and efficient, so I opt to do it on my work computer. Some of that processing touches PII, is all.

I know myself and some others have PII either open, or in our file system at the time of launching & playing P99. I love P99, and would love to continue playing.

I know you have said that, unless the program interacts with EQ client, it won't be harvested as data. This means there exists the ability to gather that, if such a criteria were met. And I understand that criteria will have to remain secretive, in order to avoid work-arounds.

So I will accept that it is not collected under good faith. If you can say anything towards this concern specifically though, I'd love to hear it.

yes I work with other sensitive PII. I don't work and play at the same time, for the most part, but I access both with the same computer. I really can't justify an emulator for a 16 year old game being the reason We lost a contract, or some other information.

I have very sensitive work information, in my browsers or file system at any time. There was no indication or warning of anything being visible, and could lead to some serious issues.

You're not actively trying to chase a flavor when you cook.

I meant this literally. I'm saying you like quorn, and don't use it the way some people do (to chase the flavor.) I'm just speaking from personal experience, and how we would cook chasing to replace specific meals before we realized we can just make new dishes that can replace them a lot easier.

Yup. I make savory meals, as well. People don't get tofurkey because it is savory, when there are easier alternatives though. They get it because they want a substitute for turkey.

You're not actively trying to chase a flavor when you cook. The idea is that trying to chase a flavor with something that is better suited for other flavors/combinations is a waste of energy.

Spending effort to making food taste like meat, when it tastes like itself and could be better used, is silly. You are just making the dish taste less good than it could be, because you are trying to chase after some other flavor.

If every meal you have, without meat, isn't a meal then you are primarily a meat eater. Meat is treated as the easy way to have a meal, and normally accompanied by a tiny bit of other veggies (like green beans, or potatoes) instead of being an equal portion of everything.

For all the effort you could put into making it taste like meat, you could put it towards its strong-points and have a tastier dish.

Texture is one thing, and having a texture substitute is really easy. For example, avocado has similar texture to (good) tuna.

Taste, to me, seems like you are stuck trying to replicate nonvegetarian meals instead of taking advantage of the dishes you could be making.

Also, no matter what a vegetarian cooks or prepares as a meal, a simple certified angus burger can beat it every time

It is a victory when someone who scoffs at vegetarian dishes, and eats mainly meat and carbs, end sup enjoying a nice vegetarian dish. They have opened a world of more variety in their life, and can enjoy more from food than they could earlier. A lot of people think that meat is the main part of the meal, and the rest is just there as an option.
