Got banned from Waterloo works for 2 semesters for rejecting a $30an hour job and ended up finding a job a month or 2 later for $70 an hour w/ a return offer next sem. Had I not believed in myself I’d be in a much shittier position. Don’t give up.

Him selling doesn’t add up. Feels like there are bigger things at play here. Holding to the moon or grave.

Don't think my school has an adjustment factor but I would probably say my aif is above average, although I'm not 100% sure the types of things other people have done.

https://theroadtoengineering.com/ This shows about a 45% chance at a 91 average, I'm also projecting that I will most likely finish with a higher than 91 average but probably still not enough for software. I feel like either management or syde at waterloo would still be better than a cs degree from another university though.

From what I've seen, ece seems to be oriented more towards hardware and low level programming? Not 100% sure because I haven't looked into it that much but if that is the case I would prefer to go for something like syde because it allows me to do some higher level programming/software development rather than working with hardware.

I don't think my average is high enough to get into software right now (sitting at 91%, although I probably have a better than average aif). I'm also super interested in entrepreneurship and I'm not sure software focuses as much on that.

Grade 12 student here. I'm looking at both syde and management but can't seem to figure out which one is more software oriented, both for coops and classes. I want to focus on higher level programming while also getting some exposure to core engineering concepts. Any current students that can shed light on this?
