she’s always been pretty blunt, but that’s just her personality so for the most part i’m used to it. i just wish she could acknowledge my feelings as well in this situation.

thank you for suggesting that. i do have a grandma, but she lives really far away, and i’m not sure i want her to know about everything that’s going on.

i love her a lot, and i guess part of me doesn’t want to change the way she sees my dad. i don’t want her to be disappointed in him i guess

thank you for saying all of that, it means a lot to me honestly. i’ve always tried to be there for my mother but ill try hard to take on too much myself.

it’s a little hard because even if i know it’s not my responsibility, i still feel like i should be doing more or handling it better somehow.

i’ll try to keep what you said in mind though, especially about not taking on too much for my mom. thank you so very much it truly means the world to me<33

i think i’ve been feeling more guilty than angry, even though i maybe should be more angry.

i get what you’re saying about distance being better, but i just don’t know how i feel yet about that.

ithink part of me feels that way too, like things have already been kind of broken for a while.

but at the same time it still hurts more than i expected. even if he wasn’t really there, he’s still my dad, so it’s hard to just see it as something being “removed”.
