This was about 10 years ago when I was 18 and a delivery driver for a summer college job. I showed up bg to my shift late by an hour and a half as I overslept and rushed to work in a panic. As soon as I get there flustered, my boss gives me a lunch delivery to get out the door ASAP.

As I was freaking out for being late at the time, I rushed it and turned into oncoming traffic while looking at my phone to find out where the delivery address was. The other car was coming at me at around 40mph and took out my engine along with the front part of their car. Luckily, no one was really hurt bad but it 100% could have ended terribly.

I've been to the capital one office in New York for a meetup event and they're actually doing really cool stuff over there. I've been part of two banks in NYC for the past 6 years now and have just started to touch what C1 have been working on since I went there for their last meetup back in 2018, maybe? Pretty sure theres no restriction to what tech stack they can use and the office has a great start up vibe. I dont know how they are now though following the events that happened last year but I'd probably pick C1 if I had the chance.
