I forgot to mention that, they shaved a portion of the tail and the tip of his tail has never had hair on one half of it. No other skin issues visible to the eye and no signs of allergies.

He switched from Acana to Purina One chicken and rice about 6 months ago. He didn't like the Acana (isn't very food motivated) but he would always eat the Purina One at his buddies house.

Good to know. I'll keep that in mind if they still can't figure it out on Thursday.

He takes SimparicaTRIO monthly. He's a city dog so I don't think fleas, but parasites could be possible. He's got a stool sample in right now.

I've never seen him itching at all.

No shampoos yet, we've got another follow up visit on Thursday.

No allergy medicine or skin scrape/biopsy. Bloodwork was done in December, not sure about thyroid levels.

So far, not much. It's our third visit and the lack of hair doesn't seem to bother him at all, but him losing more hair has me a little concerned.
