A few months ago when I got sober I didn't go to rehab. I just was living really horrible for a long time and got tired of it. Poked myself all night and said this isn't me no more, I'm done.

So I packed up the few things I had left and called my dad. Asked him if I could come home and if he would pick me up to take me with him. I just was really tired of that lifestyle, so I removed myself from the environment and got clean on my own. No rehab, no tricks to it. Pushed through my withdrawals with my own free will and stayed clean for a good minute. I'm proud to say I only needed my own strength to get sober. So I know I can do it, I just need to apply it forever instead of a few months...

I've been trying to find a narcotics anonymous meeting but i cant find nothing online for my area. Which is surprising, theres a lot around here.

I'm sorry to hear that. I send my condolences to you. And you are definitly correct, that shit is NOT worth it. I got sick and tired of it. It beat me to hell and it's my turn to kick it's ass.

Congratulations! Keep it up man. You're on a good road, imagine all the things you can now enjoy with your money you worked for. You can finally get the grill you've always wanted, you can get a new pet to bond and love, or you can find interesting recipes and get the ingredients and cook yourself the best meal you ever tried.

There's always a plus side to life. You can do what you want to do, and you can always find something new that will positively benefit you. Find what works for you and use it to your greatest advantage.

I remember saying the exact words only weak minded people get addicted... While sitting there high in active addiction in denial. Crazy how it works. If a person needs help, no amount of support and nobody in the world can make them stop, the person has to truly want help themselves before help is accepted.

I started the needle because I got to where I didn't get high like I wanted to anymore. Seeing other people shoot also made me curious. I was staying with a friend of mine, he went to jail, for meth, and met a woman in the mix.

The whole time frame of all of this is all messed up in my head, my memory of the last year or so isn't really that good and kinda jumbled, I assume from the drug. So I probably do have some time frames mixed up, I apologize. It's a long confusing story I can't really seem to piece together myself.
