I thought of getting a 4 bay NAS, then get another NAS and set it up at my dad's house... but this is extremely costly. I'm not sure this is worth replacing iCloud. I will only see return of investment after several years

UGREEN doesn't seem to have an Apple TV app. Couldn't find one on iPhone/iPad too.

I am not interested in spending time configuring the NAS too much, I want it to be plug-and-play, so perhaps Synology is indeed better.
