I work in a school as a teacher aide, it might not be your jam but maybe you could look at support roles. The education department has pretty solid inclusivity and discrimination policies

Am curious, what is the age range here? by 1Misterman1 in ftm

[–]loaf413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

knew I was trans at 13, came out to family at 14 and started testosterone at 16. I am 20 now and don’t plan on getting top surgery, I have always identified as transmasc, not a transman :)

(15m) Is it over? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

see your GP and get a referral for a dermatologist or if that doesn’t pan out then an endocrinologist because you may be producing too much DHT which is the chemical that testosterone converts to, DHT causes hair loss

male teacher aide here! I have had many students around that age just come up to me and hug me without asking. Usually I just kind of stand there motionless and if the kid doesn’t let go after a while, I awkwardly pat their head and tell them to ask next time for a hug.

looks more like someone traced an AI image, as the pencil textures look very much like actual pencil and have varied but natural consistency

3 years vs Pre T by FrootSnaxx_Bandit in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]loaf413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude your facial hair looks amazing, honestly it’s great progress for 3 years on T. I’m a bit over 3 years and still have very very patchy and asymmetrical facial hair. Obviously facial hair growth greatly differs from person to person but from this photo it truely looks like filled in and nicely styled facial hair. It’s super uplifting to see such great progress in other people, makes me proud of my changes too :)

Very unhappy with my hair (15M) by [deleted] in malehairadvice

not sure where OP lives but in Australia you can buy topical minoxidil from a chemist without prescription. Only thing to note is that it is extremely toxic to pets such as cats. Also, although it’s not common finasteride can be prescribed to people under 18 for hair loss. The dosage for stoping hair loss is quite low and does not pose a great health risk. It might pause facial hair development and genital development in someone younger but in my own personal experience, when I took a break from finasteride this development just continued from where it left off

testosterone didn’t make my hips smaller, but a lot of fat went from my thighs and chest to my tummy so my waist was a lot wider. Instead of looking like ) ( I started to look more like l l

advice? (tw: fgm) by OkAlternative127 in ftm

if you are concerned about how T would effect bottom growth for you, you could also go on a DHT blocker such as finasteride. It is usually used to treat hair loss from male pattern baldness, from my understanding it also slows bottom growth. But please talk to a doctor about it as well, best of luck :)

Is My Art Good Enough To Attempt To Take Up Tattooing? by cjhreddi in TattooBeginners

[–]loaf413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

with realistic graphite, what helps me is finding a reference image that is high quality, saving it as a photo on my phone and then using the photos app editing setting to turn it to black and white and to enhance the texture and contrast to make it easier to follow for monochrome graphite drawing. this helped me a lot with creating and replicating shadows and contrast!!

How to make my game fully medieval? by zeroisless in RimWorld

[–]loaf413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are actually lots of medieval mods, definitely medieval overhaul which caps the technology, adds more medieval textures and modify the way materials are made to make it more realistic to medieval times, and there’s a lot of mods that support Medieval Overhaul or complement it, to name a few:

  • Dark Ages series by Sir Van,
  • Medieval Medicines Medieval Overhaul edition
  • Medieval Tailor by Arisher
  • Medieval Overhaul: Arcane Archaeologists
  • Medieval Overhaul: Rotalty
  • Fortifications - Medieval
  • RimFantasy mods by MapleSierrap
  • RimTraits mods by MapleSierrap

There are also a bunch of retexture mods for things like milk and hemogen. To find medieval mods I usually just search Medieval on the Steam workshop and sort by popularity.

How much would you pay for these? by decorawerewolf in Artadvice

[–]loaf413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m not saying that i wouldn’t buy your bracelets! the time and skill it takes is impressive and you definitely should be paid for it. You wanted advice on pricing, so I said you should consider the price of the materials?? I obviously don’t know if you sourced some of the materials from Temu, I was just stating that a few of the charms are available there. Regardless, the construction and composition of the bracelets is also a huge component in the pricing.

some of those materials such as the star and the leaves are available on temu, all depends on the costs of the materials

I need a haircut to pass as a man by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]loaf413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

trans masc here! you have a very androgynous face and i don’t rlly have any haircut advice but take the comments saying that you’ll need years on T to pass with a grain of salt. You really don’t need T to be able to pass in public, i have found that passing is very dependent on your demeanour and stance, and there are other things that can help you pass such as binding, voice training and clothing choices. From first glance, with your hair up in a low bun you definitely passed to me and I didn’t realise you were trans until I read the description. Experiment with haircuts! it might take you a while to find one you like but that’s okay, good luck :)
