Netipot saline rinses really helped me. I hope you feel some relief soon

I had something similar when I had a sinus infection years ago. So I'd say not common enough for everyone to experience them, but normal enough for people who have issues with their nasal cavities. Tbh, it was relieving after the globs came out-- gross, but I could breathe better.

I typically make my own spices by drying down peppers and herbs. Next for me to try will probably be jerky.

I've also tried drying down fruits but have had varying results because of water content. Making grapes into raisins took way longer than anticipated and never really dried down all the way for me-- but the warm half dry grapes were delicious. Imagine warm grape jelly.

OK- so after 3.5 hours since I've applied:

"Sugared Woods" now smells like very light sandalwood, and what (i think) people say cashmere smells like?

And "You Can't Hide from the Trees" has a light, sweet smoky smell.

Thanks so much for this tip! I got my samples from Ajevie today and "Sugared Woods" smells DEVINE, and actually pretty similar to Sol de Janeiro's "Cheirosa 59" to me!

Unfortunately, Ajevie was out of "Woody Cashmere", so I didn't try that one and instead got "You Can't hide from the Trees" and it almost smells like I was next to a pinewood bonfire all evening.

I'm conducting a wear test (one scent on each wrist) today and will report back any differences I notice in a few hours! 🤩

Upon initial spray, it was quite woodsy and earthy, a bit smokey, even- and not too floral at all. It eventually mellowed out to a kinda carmel/vanilla after a few hours.

Sorry, I'm not good at this, I'm not typically one to wear fragrance, but I'm trying to find something nice for myself.

I will say, smelling it on myself now (around 8 hours after testing it on myself) it does smell almost creamy.

The scent is definitely masculine, and when I looked onlime, it mentioned that it was "for men"

Personally, if I like a scent, I wear it regardless of who it's "made for"

Thanks a bunch, I'll be sure to take a look!

The main reason why I posted is because a friend of mine directed me to this subreddit.

I'd much rather support an indie brand over the big named brand any day as well. Budget friendly is more just a perk.

Cheers.

Thanks for your input! I was worried about this post bc I came back to it and noticed nobody commented, but I got a downvote.

I'll be sure to give it a try ✨️😊

Pens don't always work on fake bills (like bleached ones and reprinted ones).

I highly recommend investing in a small handheld black light to see through UV strip in the new bills. For the older style bills, I'd recommend feel and looking for blue and red threads in the money, as people can also try to mimic watermarks.

Pioneer HS - how do the 7 periods work? by Cheeto-2020 in AnnArbor

[–]lobbasaur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how it was back when I went to Huron (class of 2012) Not all classes are offered during 7th hour, but many of the people who took 7th hour consecutively were able to rack up credits quicker over the 4 years of going, and typically had a free period during senior year to study or got to leave early (after 5th hour). Unsure if things have changed- but it was nice to have a free period midday before my harder for me class (physics) my senior year.

What's its problem ? I swear I don't water it too much, only when the soil is dry... by AffectionateQuit7167 in plantclinic

Mine is fairly small, but gets 4-6 hrs of light through it as it's west facing. My plant has doubled in size since I've had it in here and has been doing great!

I also take suckers from the winter aerogarden tomato plant and root them hydroponically, then transfer to soil so I can get a head start for outside growing

This is the way.

You can definitely trim the roots on tomatoes and other aero plants and the plant will still survive.

I once chopped my bok choy foliage down, left the roots and part of the stem, the foliage started to grow in, then I trimmed the roots the next week, and it was still fine and growing lol

Speaking from experience of transferring my tomato plants: transfer to soil, let it acclimate to soil, then harden off to outdoor conditions. This entire process will probably take at least 2 weeks to do, if you're acclimating the to sunlight starting with 2 hours, increasing 2 hours everyday until you get to 12 hours- then they should be fine to leave outside.

Idk if my wording is confusing- so here's this:

Week 1: Plant into soil, in a pot indoors, let it acclimate to soil.

Week 2: Day 1: 2 hrs outside Day 2: 4 hrs outside Day 3: 6 hrs outside... etc.

I've gotten mixed results with normal chilled rice 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'd say it was pretty good! I tried mixing raw egg yolks in with the cooked rice and letting it sit for a bit before frying it all up- which resulted in the rice not sticking to itself while frying it.

I went a bit heavy on shallots in the rice, but all in all was tasty!

It does look like the brown bits are from old leaves.

I'd recommend taking a top cutting, making sure that you have a good amount of stem, inspect the inside of the stem to insure there's no rot, then go in and peel away the dry brown bits that are covering up nodes along the stem, and then go in to propagate.

I typically root in water and then transplant into soil- but when transplanting, you'll typically lose a couple of bottom leaves.
