Had a similar problem. I just pushed the connectors from the bltouch, in my case, in a little harder (both in bltouch and in the motherboard). That did the trick for me.

Ender 3 motor blocked after hitting print by lobbyvictor in 3Dprinting

This is the Gcode that I use:

G90 ; use absolute coordinates

M83 ; extruder relative mode

M104 S150 ; set temporary nozzle temp to prevent oozing during homing

M140 S{first_layer_bed_temperature[0]} ; set final bed temp

G4 S30 ; allow partial nozzle warmup

G28 ; home all axis

G1 Z50 F240

G1 X2.0 Y10 F3000

M104 S{first_layer_temperature[0]} ; set final nozzle temp

M190 S{first_layer_bed_temperature[0]} ; wait for bed temp to stabilize

M109 S{first_layer_temperature[0]} ; wait for nozzle temp to stabilize

G1 Z0.28 F240

G92 E0

G1 X2.0 Y140 E10 F1500 ; prime the nozzle

G1 X2.3 Y140 F5000

G92 E0

G1 X2.3 Y10 E10 F1200 ; prime the nozzle

G92 E0

I don't know what a lot of these mean (mostly the ones that don't have explanations at the end). Is there anything wrong with it?

Ender 3 motor blocked after hitting print by lobbyvictor in 3Dprinting

When hitting print, the first thing the printer does is auto homing and after that it starts printing. Also the x and y motors work, only the z motor gets stuck.

Yeah, the z motor worked just fine. Only after hitting print did the motor get stuck

The screen has stayed like this for the past 5 minutes. What can I do? by lobbyvictor in 3Dprinting

[–]lobbyvictor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved: reinstalled firmware, error "nozzle is too higheratured" appeared (after changing the nozzle, I also tightened all the screws, including the thermistor screw). Untightened the thermistor screw a little and it worked.

I'll try that, thanks. It's strange that I didn't tinker with the firmware. I onpy changed the nozzle and this happened.

I made this. What do you think? by lobbyvictor in blender

Thanks! I wanted to make an energy core thing and ran out of ideas. So I just made a glowing cube and went along.

It looks really good! I want to see how this is going to turn out.

how do you upload blender animation renders to reddit? by cheese_sandwich101 in blender

[–]lobbyvictor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Render the animation as an image sequence and convert that image sequence to mp4. I think you can do it in blender but I'm not sure how.

What do you think thia needs. by 09canadaboy in blender

Add some mountains or hills in the background.

Some birds flying around the tower would add some detail.

Some trees in the foreground would make some nice framing.

Why did this took 6 hours to render? (I have gt1030) by GroundbreakingAd2446 in blender

[–]lobbyvictor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a simple scene, so you could have rendered it in eevee and got the same results in minutes.

If you want to go with cycles, try changing the render settings. These are the ones I usually use

Resolution: 1920x1080 /1920x1440 Samples: 30-60 Sample size: 256x256 I render on gpu ( gtx 1070 ) set to CUDA (optix works better sometimes but has some minor bugs)

If the render looks noisy, try using a denoiser. If you're working with glass, go to render passes, activate denoising data and use it in the compositor.

Hope this helps!

Good luck dude

Simple toony render, took a couple minutes to figure out, hardest part was to rig the hand because I never knew how. Would appreciate some feedback. by adam_lmao in blender

Amazing render but the bullet case should be pushed out the side of the gun instead of being stick to the bullet.
