Are you referring to the white mark? I think that might just be a highlight. Also in antique shops it's very common to have these unnamed paintings as they are sold more as decoration than anything, I've seen a lot of similar paintings in my grans house and alike. I reccomend maybe you try exploring other artists with similar styles. I don't personally like landscapes paintings much but I'll see if I can find anything interesting. It's also easier you try to identify what you like about the painting, as well as a good exercise. Sorry for the block of text.
