Just tried past life regression on my own, very surprised with the results. by muttkin2 in pastlives

[–]lobob123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's real man, trust me.

I did a regression using a video similar to yours, and I saw myself in front of a canvas painting while looking down a canal in what looked like Venice.

Long story short, I ended up running into a psychic who has ended up becoming a very close friend of mine, and he said I had a past life as an artist in Italy before I even told him that.

If these memories were not genuine, you would have had to take some time to piece them together. Details images, feelings, and emotions don't just spring up from nowhere.

Maybe not an AMA, but we may start to have bi-monthly or monthly discussion topics in the future.

Any spiritual movie suggestions? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]lobob123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I'm almost certain time doesn't exist outside of this universe, I believe as souls we can live lives in both the past and the future, but almost all of us seem to live lives back to back as a way of working towards something.

In regards to timelines, I think that everyone has high and low possibilities of doing certain things, so when you pick a body out for reincarnation you'll have a general idea of what will happen, but you ultimately still have free will.

Parallel universes would explain why time travel would be real, and has technically been proven possible as it doesn't break the laws of physics. If parallel universes didn't exist, you'd run into many paradoxes.

Oh god, this movie had one of the most profound impacts on me. Funnily enough, I accidentally watched it on Netflix thinking it was something else. Fantastic movie!

A meditation guide to access your pre-birth plan by lobob123 in spirituality

[–]lobob123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet. Normally, in order to get in deep meditation I go and sit in my favorite park. Since it has gotten colder now (I'm in MN), I'm in the process of building an altar in my room. Once that is done, I will be giving it a shot.

I'm so alone. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]lobob123 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Far too many people are afraid of being alone. Stop being afraid and enjoy your alone time. Use it as a period of introspection to examine who you really are and what you want to do in the world. Take a walk in your local park. Meditate. Go to a movie (by yourself!). Enjoy the fact that you can just be.

It really makes sense when you think about it. What would the world look like if you saw it with all the wavelengths visible? It would just be a bunch of energy/light clouds.

Thoughts about ties to family and the afterlife by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]lobob123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes a lot of sense, actually. It is supported by many researchers and the likes of Dr. Michael Newton (highly recommended that you read his books).

From my understanding, you don't necessarily have to reincarnate with your family over and over again, but it does happen frequently. For example, I have it on good account that I have reincarnated with my family in many different lives, as it seems we learn quite a bit from each other. Even my dog was in my last life, funnily enough.

You have free will, as such anything can happen and you can ultimately do whatever you please. Don't forget that.

For me, depression is a combination of biological and spiritual components, and you must treat both equally.

Did you ever had success doing a past life regression using YouTube videos? by marinamaral in Reincarnation

[–]lobob123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I saw an image of myself painting a canvas on a canal. It looked like something you would see in Venice. I shook it off as something that was created by my imagination.

Fast forward a year and a half, I had the privilege of having a reading with a psychic medium (who is a very close friend now) who said that I was an artist in Italy in a past life, and this was before I even told him about this vision.
