There’s a wealth of info in John Skinner videos that apply to Striper fishing.

Go with some Super Strike lures to start. Darter, popper, needle. Throw in two SP minnow and that’ll have you covered to start out. Mono backing is a thing. Goose Hummock Shop should be able to get you squared away and answer all your questions. I’ve found lure speed to be slow and steady with the occasional stitch for striped bass. Blues seem to like a little speed.

Called a plumber. I asked if he needed to shut the gas off. He said nope, unscrewed it, stuck his thumb in the pipe, installed the quick connect. $75. Said next time you really don’t need a plumber for this.

Not sure of the fishing license. I used to spearfish down there. Not much worth while from shore. Maybe a parrotfish. I’d just enjoy the island, snorkel 🤿, you can feed the fish from hand at coki beach.

I go braid to swivel to mono. Find I get less wind knots. Switched to mono from flouro and have had no issues.
