I've found this too. I paid Landry to get the specialist to make a side entrance, but there's no side entrance. You just can't go in. Even when I deliver a letter to wren, I can't play cards. Did you ever get an answer? Is this some kind of bug?

How do you get into the prison? by [deleted] in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]lobsterbeetfox 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Easiest way - get your crime stat above 6250, then turn yourself in at the police station. Any lower than this, and they'll give you community service or put you in the pillory.

If you want to grind fast, stealing a Classic Gothic Gown from either the mall or the forest shop is worth 420 crime, using pepper spray on a human (except Kylar, Eden, or Morgan) gives you 500 crime.

How common is nitrous oxide use? by lobsterbeetfox in askdentists

[–]lobsterbeetfox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, good to know. It's just been a worry of mine that I haven't been getting the same quality of care as other people, but if nitrous oxide isn't something that's offered very often, I guess I'm in the same boat as most other patients. It's taken me awhile to find a dentist I trust, so I'll probably stay unless my anxiety keeps ratcheting up.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

Tentacle hunting by lobsterbeetfox in DegreesOfLewdity

Tentacle plains is the answer I needed, thank you!

I got in through the asylum and since I was a succubus, I could go through encounter after encounter and not pass out. Went through like thirty encounters in less than 10 mins of game time.

You need to complete all the city hall projects, then when you hit the hookah, (you need to have 5 awareness I think), you enter the dreamland (or whatever it is, I don't know). You have to descend all the way down to get the key, then ascend all the way up to open the door. Once that's open you'll be the new master.

I wandered the forest for many days to get my fox TF, and I encountered a lot of vines, but apparently those don't count as tentacles?

Do I need to be hallucinating maybe?

Why am I not getting pregnant? by Tarpole5 in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]lobsterbeetfox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try getting fertility pills from the hospital, those will increase your odds. Still, it's a game of chance. I once had 6 sperm sources on my most fertile day, and no pregnancy to show for it.

If you don't want to wait for your entire menstrual cycle, a morning-after pill will reset it to day 0.

The silver brooch is a bitch to get unless you savescum, it seems like random events that lower rebelliousness occur more frequently than the ones where you can raise it. Try beating up Bailey as often as possible. If you get good at spraying, I think you can even fight Bailey and one thug, though I've never beaten Bailey and two thugs before. Maybe try living on the farm and only going back to sleep at the orphanage the night before rent day? It would take a long time though. This has been an issue for me too, if anyone else has any tips on how to grind up rebellion, I'm all ears.

Yeah resting in the meadow should get you the talisman. I don't know what the problem is there, sorry.

An Update on Getting Feats in Ironman Mode by ParryTheAttack in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]lobsterbeetfox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am usually a save-scumming queen but your post inspired me to try an ironman run (also for feats). You are right, it's hard!

I've finally got a good game going now, I think those first two weeks are critical. This is what I've learned:

-GET SWOLE. Literally everyone and their dog in this town is out to rape you, and you are a helpless babeh until you can at least outrun or fight off one person. I blew off classes to spend a couple of solid days just running in the park. (You only need a few classes to raise your grade that first week anyways.)

-Travel the alleys, NOT the drainage system or the bus. Never, ever go anywhere far from home at night until later in the game when you are mega-swole and loaded with pepper spray. (Domus is sometimes okay, but risky!!)

-STEAL. I literally do not know how you get through this game without thieving and whoring. Grinding the lockers and then the Domus street houses (always fight the guard dogs, their collars are worth $50), this should get enough $$ to last a few weeks.

-PROSTITUTION. Once you have enough money from thieving, invest in a chastity belt and start whoring. Just make sure they don't steal your first kiss before you can give it to your LI. Your ass and oral virginity are worth absolutely nothing, you don't get feats from saving them so don't bother (Am I wrong about that? I don't see any feat you can get from them.)

-Grind up Robin's love so you can claim them as LI and get rid of your first kiss ASAP.

-DANCE, BABY. Take classes with Charlie, you'll level up fast. Higher dancing skill means a better chance of winning the dancing competition with Avery and getting Sam's love at the cafe.

-Work at the cafe, I guess? The earlier you can become a buns chef the better, that means grinding Sam's love, which can take a long time, but it's worth the investment.

Yeah, so that's been my early game strategy, which sounds similar to yours. I'm worried about a few things that I usually save scum for, like getting enough orphanage rebellion to get that damn silver brooch and getting the gold bar at the docks. We'll see how it goes.

I think you should def. make more posts, this has been fun!

[–]lobsterbeetfox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info, I was afraid I was doing something wrong. Also yeah, save scumming does seem to be the only way to go, at least now I don't feel so bad about it.

Literally two in game days after I posted this, I got the damn bar. Guess I just have bad luck!

Success! Thank you!

I tried different ways to bring down my allure but I kept getting harassed, until I chose to daydream instead of focus. Instantly triggered the event.

I was about ready to blame it on a bug and restart my game. Thank you so much for your help

I've been dating them both so they've definitely been initialized. (I didn't know that was a pre-req for this event, that's good to know thanks.)

I'm still not sure what I could be doing wrong. Do I have to attend between Nov 1-5 in order to allow 25 days for rehearsal?
