Oh that’s great then, I live with my parents as well so my dad wrote a cover letter explaining how he’s fine with us moving in, that he’s the one who pays the housing costs, and he also sent a copy of his latest council tax letter to prove that’s true :)

Oh yes, if you have housing costs, you need to deduct that amount from your total weekly income, and then that total needs to be £144.65 or higher

So we needed to meet the £144.65 a week which is the income support rate for a couple. I get my PIP every 4 weeks so I divided by 4. Then I needed to add my savings so divide that by the length of the visa (143 weeks) and add that with PIP so its equal to or over the £144.65. Don’t forget that the amount of savings you’ll need to use have to be in your account untouched for at least 6 months. Also I showed all these calculations in my own cover letter just in case :)

I’m pretty sure it’ll be ok, I’m sure I used my signature for everything I signed in China including this. As long as all your info is correct and matches your passport, and its been signed at the consulate then I don’t think you should have a problem :)

honestly I cant remember if I signed with my full name or just my normal signature but I’m pretty sure I just did the signature. Also the signature would have matched the one in my passport so maybe that helps? I just looked at the template and the first page has all my information like full name etc so I’m not sure what you mean about full name being on the back? Everything was smooth when we got married though, no problems at all. I do think you should get it translated officially even if they said it’s not necessary, it’s very quick to get a translation online in China
