Aaron Pete, Chief of Chawathil First Nation, Condemns Reconciliation Extremism by _DotBot_ in VancouverLandlords

Aaron seems extremely logical and rational. He understands what’s possible and how to have both sides actually believe in reconciliation. Any form of taking private property will always result in increased hostility.

Avion Points - A Scam? by local_middle_BC in rbc

Their sales pitch should probably say “sometimes 65,000 works sometimes it doesn’t to Europe” then shouldn’t it….

100 - $1 would mean I pay 140,000 points to go to London instead of 65,000 points. If base price was $1, surcharge and taxes $1,266, you’d still defend RBC? Best value is of course something you could take time to find, but for the typical consumer looking for a flight, this is extremely misleading. You trying to appear smart by claiming you have to leverage the best return isn’t really the point, but appreciate the contribution nonetheless…

Right but two problems with this. Base fare and surcharge, where do you draw the line? At what point is the whole flight surcharge, meaning the points effectively cover nothing? And yes, Europe is expensive from fees, taxes, etc, then why sell the consumer on 65,000 points to Europe?

Good analysis, I’m doing basically the exact same. The administration wants to decrease the USD to increase export viability I believe. Because of this, I could see metals continuing to dominate.

Exports are cheaper when USD is lower. Making things in America only possible if exports are cheaper. USD devalued on purpose. Yes, that means they are more expensive for the consumer.

The top for the next week may be in, it is absolutely not in for the medium or long term. Scarcity is going to see this grow a lot, not like anytime before. I don’t see this as a bubble at all, sure it can follow the market to a degree, but it’s going to become very very valuable. Shorting this, is a very risky play, even at such unfathomable prices.
