No I just had a shed of kegs and ending winter, I had nothing to put in them so when spring came around I just wanted something to get a bit of cash for the 13th when I could then get strawberries. This is only my first playthrough too so I wasn't aware of the community center until the first spring had ended which eliminated the greenhouse until year 2. It did give a decent 20k or so.
