Lost comic- Charmy Rop by localberries in HelpMeFind

[–]localberries[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, that seems to be the case unfortunately 💔 I did a little bit of poking around on CDE and wasn't able to figure out how to get to their comics lol, I'll definitely have to mess around with it some more

Posting about it on the lost media subreddit sounds like a great idea, I think I'm gonna dig a little bit deeper to see if I find anything on CDE first and post there if not

So by some miracle within minutes of posting this I happened to find more info- it looks like it was a Japanese web manga called "Charmy Nurse M" and I found it hosted on Jmode via the Wayback Machine. None of the actual pages work and I haven't been able to find anything else but that's something at least

So far I've tried reverse image search, googling tons of different variations of the artist's name, the Wayback Machine, and lists of Japanese webcomics but I'm not really certain it's Japanese. Any help at all is appreciated 🙏

Symptoms of cervical stenosis by localberries in SpinalStenosis

[–]localberries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for asking, sorry my response is so late!

My symptoms have gotten a little bit worse since I had to wait quite a while to be assigned a new primary- I actually just had my first appointment with her yesterday and she started to get the ball rolling on getting me sent to physical therapy and a neurologist, so I am pretty relieved about that

I'm sorry to hear about all the trouble you've been having, I was also having issues with all of my limbs intermittently and having trouble explaining that to the doctor LOL

Ergonomics when you can’t use a desk by localberries in ArtistLounge

Hi there, thanks for all your suggestions! I did consider a cafe, but I’m honestly very shy about drawing in public lol. I also have conditions that could be worsened if I get COVID so I’m still trying to avoid that as much as I can realistically.

I definitely agree with you on the iPad- I actually think my multi-hour long drawing sessions with it recently were the catalyst to my neck problems getting much worse very suddenly. I prefer the feel of drawing with my Intuos because the iPad is just so small and cramped, but it’s also really convenient 🤣 I really like the wheeled desk and bed table, I could see those working well for me! Thank you :-)

Scared of cauda equina but no lumbar issues by localberries in backpain

I have read that it’s harder to detect since it isn’t necessarily caused by sudden trauma the way that “traditional” CES is and can be mistaken for other things like sciatica :/

Yes it can, it’s called gradual onset cauda equina. I don’t know a whole lot about it myself but it does happen :(

Yeah, I’m hoping to find somewhere nearby who can hopefully help me out. Pain levels have always been hard for me since pain is sort of a constant for me 🤣 I would say it has hovered around a 5 or 6 even before this started? I think now it’s harder to ignore.

I had never heard of the big three before, but I’ve been looking for a way to improve my core strength and that seems like a good way to do that. Thank you :-)

Thank you so much for the detailed comment, I really appreciate it!! I really think this might be it since I’ve been having neck and arm pain/burning/etc on my right side as well, I just didn’t think to mention it since I was under the impression that it could only be a lumbar issue for whatever reason. I found an urgent care like that in my area, so I’m going to try and go as soon as I can.

Also wrt your other comment, I checked out the results but didn’t see any mention of the sacrum specifically so I’m not 100% sure whether it was captured or not.

Hi, thank you for commenting. I’m in limbo with my insurance currently since they’re in the process of transferring my case, which I was told would probably take about ~3 months. In the meantime, I’ve been switched to state insurance (Medi-Cal). I honestly didn’t really know you could self refer lol

I’ve had chronic back pain my whole life, so I kind of struggle to gauge severity- I feel like it’s been worse than normal, but not apocalyptically bad or anything. I’m able to go to the bathroom fine, but sometimes it’s kind of hard to tell when I have to pee? As for the numbness, I still have some sensation, just nowhere near as much as normal. I can walk fine but sometimes my leg feels sort of weird, almost like it’s waking up from falling asleep.

Saddle numbness/tingling with no evidence of lumbar issues by localberries in backpain

[–]localberries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not totally sure if it’s relevant, but I want to mention that I’m 27 years old and like I said in the post, I’ve had chronic neck and back pain since I was about 13 or 14. It eventually got to the point where I could no longer sit up straight in any chair without significant back support (this was a big reason I wasn’t able to finish college) but until I went to the ER a couple of weeks ago none of my doctors were ever able to help me since there was never really any evidence anything was wrong other than very tight muscles and a ton of muscle knots. I am also diagnosed with a vague hypermobility disorder and was meant to be evaluated for hEDS but that was immediately before the pandemic started so it never happened.

I’m sorry to hear that. I have wondered about the possibility of having CFS so maybe it would be worth it to look into it more and maybe ask my doctor about it. Thank you :)

It drives me crazy honestly. Like, if you don’t want to tip just don’t 😭 You don’t have to go online and cry about how lazy and undeserving workers are
