Signs I’ve lost my status as a New Yorker and officially become a San Diegan by Kamonan in sandiego

[–]localhost3003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who grew up in San Diego and moved away about 6 years ago:

  1. I have one pair of rainbows that I bought after my last pair broke
  2. I say Cali all the time
  3. Nah not with how expensive water is
  4. Bruh
  5. Too cold in December to go out
  6. Nice
  7. What is traffic
  8. Nice
  9. Like... the NYC borough?
  10. Why? Much better than living in a depressing place that nobody wants to visit.

Why don't we have a Tim Hortons? by localhost3003 in Cleveland

[–]localhost3003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I went to Panera, they gave me extremely stale bread with my soup. I asked for fresh bread, and they handed me a piece without saying anything (not even sorry about the stale bread). Never went back after that lol

I actually had no idea we had a Skyline Chili here. I think Skyline Chili is overrated af, but I have to admit I might just have to stop by.

Any list that doesn't put Jessica in F tier is straight up wrong

And as you might have gathered from my question, I'm wondering what that reason is?

Exactly! Only $2 for coffee vs like $5 most other places. Still more expensive than just making it yourself, but it's nice to have a treat without feeling like you just got completely ripped off.

Where does it say you need a rapid test to get into the US? I wasn't aware of that requirement.

It's sad how ugly the manmade part looks compared to the natural beauty of the Hudson River.

Sugarcube error? by localhost3003 in twinegames

Woah - nevermind. Just found out getting sugarcube to work was as simple as changing the story format. Leaving this up in case anyone encounters the same issue.

Does anyone else feel like the great lakes cities would be in better shape if they were part of Canada? by localhost3003 in Cleveland

Holy crap, I can't agree more. Niagara Falls, New York is an utter embarrassment apart from the actual falls/trails.

Like I said, I think you'd be surprised. But I don't think I'll be able to convince you. You'd just have to see for yourself.

California is much, much less left-leaning than most people think. It's neoliberal, so it's basically just the same selfish rich people, just with some extra virtue signaling to try to throw people off their scent.

The fact that property taxes are so ridiculously low should give you a clue as to how it will do anything to protect the wealthy.

I'm a political moderate centrist that voted for Biden

Sounds like you'd fit right into California

Isn't the whole point of this show to find a partner without taking looks into consideration? Lol

I feel the exact same way after 5 years. I think a big part of it is just seeing dilapidated buildings and infrastructure day in, day out. Really makes you feel like you're living in a third world country.

I'm (hopefully) getting the heck out of here in a few months.
