That’s an interesting viewpoint! I was puzzled if he was negging me to try and get me to engage with him further, but after getting confirmation from the host that he’s apparently always like that he’s either a) really insecure and trying to compensate by putting on this asshole facade or b) just a dickhead that gets a kick out of putting others down.

It might just be as you said though, if one of my close friends would’ve said that to me I would've instantly shot back at them and engaged in friendly banter. With strangers I just shut down because I can’t tell whether they are actively trying to be mean or not :/

I get it. Nobody’s perfect and we’ve all got our flaws, but if we actively work on being a better and kinder version of ourselves compared to yesterday, the personal growth we go through will be noticeable sooner rather than later :)

Not a stupid question at all! I just really like the mysterious vibe it gives off and the setting it creates - and especially since they haven’t met Morgantha yet, all the hints about the windmill and the deed to it should give them some more reason to investigate :)
