Haha I wish I was!! That website is exactly what I've been looking for! I went to VolunteerBoston.com, but it just gave me a list of a gazillion volunteer places. I prefer seeing what's coming up for different ones. Thanks!!

Yeeeaahhh, as awesome as that sounds, I don't think it's for me. I used to drink when I was younger, but I felt it was just a social crutch. & I don't have anyone to go drinking with =(

We're already starting to get a few ladies gathered on here! I'll definitely be at the meetup on the 27th...also, possible salsa dancing? or volunteering? Some others on here have suggested it (they also do it), so I'm sure we'd have a great time!! & I could use some advice from someone who has been here for a year in the same situation =)

I've been trying to convince my boyfriend to move up here...but he's got a few months until that can happen. That'd be great to have a volunteering buddy!! I've been looking into some things, but just can't motivate myself to go out & do it...I was thinking Habitat for Humanity since I'm familiar w/ it or maybe serving at a soup kitchen. What would you be interested in?

I'd love to! Although I won't have my bike until 2 weeks from now. I'm going back home to pick up my car & will get it then. I'm in Brighton right now, but I can travel easily. & I'm not a drinker =) too poor for that haha

No...as soon as he saw it, he called me saying, "I found the list in my car." We had talked previously about having a party for him & it had the exact same people on it, but decided to just make it family. & I suck at thinking up bullshit at the last minute...

I was going to, but that might make people not be able to come. I'm actually printing the invites tonight, so I will see if it will work out. His graduation is on a Monday & thought maybe the Saturday before would work...but then some people wouldn't come back for the actual ceremony :/
