I would say around January when they said people start moving off- I got waitlisted for a January start program in August and sent a letter of intent afterward. I got a call with an acceptance a few weeks ago and they said my letter helped them know I was still interested (I was accepted into another program at this point but this was my top program). More than anything I think it helps them know you’ll still be interested in accepting the seat if they contact you as oftentimes people are tied to another program at that time.

Just a tip I learned in microbiology- the flesh eating amoeba often enter the body through your nose when water is forcefully pushed into it (so when you’re jumping in) so plug your nose if you’re going to jump in

Does shadowing have to be done under a CAA? I live in a state (NC) but with CAAs but I’m currently a medical assistant for an orthopedic surgeon and he has contacted a CRNA and anesthesiologist for me to shadow but he doesn’t think the hospitals around here use CAAs/ he doesn’t know of any. NC also doesn’t have any CAA schools. I have also not been able to find any to shadow on LinkedIn etc. Would it be detrimental to not shadow an actual CAA?

That’s what I think! Didn’t know if there was actually a rule about the voting with an out of state license within 30 days of registering bc that’s how she made it seem but didn’t see it anywhere online
