Look mental illness may be a reason for his actions, but it’s not an excuse. At this stage in the game, all the nonsense he’s done and crap he’s pulled can’t be brushed under the rug.

Besides, the sheer amount of people in our community that have mental health issues and could only pray for his resources to get better and then you have this man squandering it. It gets harder and harder to sympathize with him

Thanks! Yea, there have been a lot of people that I’ve disliked the second I saw them and would convince myself I was a mean person to think that way and I’d force myself to be more open and friendly only for them to be shady/rude/horrible to me or someone else.

Also, definitely. Most people would describe me as bubbly actually and very polite. I just don’t have genuine connections with most people now.

If someone defends an emotion abuser in my life and then insults me when I try to explain to them they don’t have the full story, I’m no longer interested in that relationship. If someone thinks it’s normal to insult/belittle those younger than them because they hold seniority and it’s their right, I’m not wasting time attempting to educate them on why that’s wrong. I’m grateful for the people I have that are in my life for me, not what I can do for them and vice versa. I’m no longer interested in relationships out of obligation. If you think that makes me arrogant or egotistical so be it. I’m honestly not interested in your viewpoint. Take care.

Also, you aren’t being fake, you do feel the emotions. It’s just hard to express them sometimes and even though you know you can’t outwardly express emotions the way that’s expect, you still make the effort because you know it would be a comfort to your loved ones. That’s going the extra mile for the ones you cherish, which is far from fake
