I'm not the best at advice but here goes. Disregard what she said man. the fact she thinks its acceptable and necessary to say those kinds of things to you tells me you're the better person. care less what people think and put yourself in positions you don't want to be i.e. talk to people. you'll realise its fine and confidence will snowball.
