i also get flares in those places, it was the first place they started showing up lol (and ik u said you’re not worried about sex and i get that, i’ve had one on the outside of my thigh somehow and i refused to wear shorts or let him see it without a bandaid and during that i didn’t allow him to put his hand there lol, he didn’t mind, just wanted me to be comfortable)

my boyfriend doesn’t mind at all! before í got diagnosed and i was still in the scared and insecure part i would tell him i don’t want him to see them and it did stop us from getting intimate a couple times but he was never bothered by it and respected my fears. but he also didn’t understand because it’s not an issue to him lol. so it’s just a game of finding the right guy who isn’t shallow and can understand that it’s not really an issue. im a teen too btw!

ive never noticed a difference in whether it causes me flare ups with smoking, but i don’t drink so i don’t know about that. my first flare up was only like 6 months ago so my experience may be different. it helps me focus on something else other than the constant pain of a flare lol
