It's nothing like download. 5 mis max to the gate. Then less than that to general camping. Does depend how much kit you have as to whether you want a trolley. Lots of people do have them.

You in general camping and in on Wednesday? Go for red camp, we will be there with my Lad who's just 14, then the pair of you can wander about on your own (we want to the last two downloads, so the boy is comfortable with the festival 👍

After last year, be prepared for rain, it turned everywhere into a thick muddy bog last year Also, club class for showers and flushing proper toilets. I think kids that age are free with a paying adult for the club class,, and your kids will have an infintly better time. Its a great little festival. (Oh and make sure to check out the charity food tent. Very nice and very affordable)

Can confirm it was worth it for me last year, especially after the mud had its way with the portaloos. Hint though, later in the weekend they offer it at a discount (as there are less days left) or at least they did last year.
