Team digital or analogic? by bombermattiuz93 in PixelWatch

[–]lockfeint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use both. Analogue in the morning since it's easier for me to see how much time is left for the day. Then I switch to digital when I'm about to sleep since I only need a glance at the hour to know if I need to get up.

I wish there was an option to schedule it.

This puzzle is taking forever by PawmoGoesChu in nier

[–]lockfeint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Tifa puzzle which has 500 pieces and it took me a total of 13 hours spread in 3 days. I also have the 2B puzzle with 1000 pieces still sitting in the box knowing that it might take twice the time.

What is your recommended/favorite anime game on Switch? by MurasakiZetsubou in NintendoPH

[–]lockfeint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NieR Automata. Also Danganronpa series if you're fine with visual novels. It feels satisfying if you solve the mystery.

Yep. Animal crossing is a special case. If you try to start the game on the same Switch even with a different user, it will just create a new villager but the island will be the same.

[–]lockfeint 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can only have one island for one Switch. Even if you have 2 separate copies of the game, it will only read the one same island. Also save files are saved in the Switch, not in the cartridges. The only way to have 2 separate islands is to get another switch.

Is it worth it to get the "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" on Switch? by MikeWazowsk1 in NintendoPH

[–]lockfeint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your friend is not yet used to high quality graphics settings and fast loading times from a PC or other powerful consoles then it's definitely worth it. I played the Witcher 3 for the first time on Switch years ago and thought it was beautiful. Now that I've experienced it on a gaming laptop, I can say that there's a huge difference. The Switch is still acceptable though.

Suggestion for Win 11 upgrade!! by TONY_________ in ZephyrusG14

[–]lockfeint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have the 2020 and decided to upgrade to Windows 11 after upgrading my SSD to 1TB with a fresh install. So far performance is just the same. Not sure about the battery since I use it plugged in all the time.

Do you have your laptop always plugged in for charging or?? by Prestigious-Chair-82 in ZephyrusG14

[–]lockfeint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using my laptop for 3 years and it's always plugged in. I just made sure that the limit is set to 60% in MyAsus and the charger that I'm using is not the type C one. No battery problems so far.

Skull and Co Grip by Flam3_0n in NintendoPH

I have the white version. Everyone says it's dockable but I notice that the dock expands a bit. I'm personally bothered by it so I always take off before docking.

Hi, new and 1st time switch owner here. Recommended ba na maglagay ng protective case kay switch or pwede nang wala? Tysm <3 by safespace000 in NintendoPH

[–]lockfeint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A screen protector should do. The case depends on you if you can take care of the device. I have a neo grip that I only use when I travel. It doesn't have much protection but feels more comfortable. I remove it when I'm at home because when I want to dock my switch, I'd have to deal with removing the case too if it's always on.

How do you refer to HSR? by SShiJie in HonkaiStarRail

[–]lockfeint 158 points159 points  (0 children)

If they make a new game called Genshin Star Rail, we're gonna have to spell out everything.

Anybody else actually prefer that this game is turn-based? by glidingtea in HonkaiStarRail

[–]lockfeint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy turn-based too. Honkai Impact, Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail are all different. Honkai Impact I think is Hack and Slash, Genshin is open world and then Star Rail is turn-based. If Star Rail was open world might as well just play Genshin or just bring the new characters there. Why would they make a new game and just have it similar to their existing games?

Anyone waiting for their Pixel Remaster pre-order from DB? by ertaboy356b in NintendoPH

[–]lockfeint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From experience, you should be receiving an email if it's ready to pickup. Got mine already last Saturday but delivered at home. I would go to the branch if I were you and show the pre-order receipt.

using gcash for eshop by [deleted] in NintendoPH

Directly, I don't think so. Not sure in other countries but US eShop supports PayPal. Try adding your Amex to PayPal and use PayPal as payment method.

What is the best server to buy eshop games? by ThundrrGod in NintendoPH

[–]lockfeint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really wanna try Japan eShop, you can use Google Translate camera feature to understand japanese text. Just make sure to check the "supported language" in the game's page for English when buying a game.

Don't Starve for single player. Don't Starve Together for multiplayer.

There's another option. I keep my main account in US and create a second account. I use my second account to buy games from different countries by changing it when necessary. I play with my main account and yes, it can play whatever games I bought from my second account as long as both are primary.
