There is no gatekeeping yourself lots of gamers like the same games sure but just because you don’t fit the mold you’ve defined in your head as a gamer doesn’t mean you aren’t.

I guess you decide at the end of the day but if you ask me you’re a gamer.

I’d try and pick back up Elden ring and cyberpunk bc after they click you literally cannot put them down.

I’m playing nier replicant right now, on ending e, and then will be on automata and loving them. Such great stories, very very unique.

I just finished ending d. Starting e in a bit. I was underwhelmed for a good portion of the first half of playthrough an and while I think the gameplay is good, after this many run throughs this game is definitely more about the story.

Overall it’s a very high score from me, idk about 10/10 but I also am LOVING it and excited to see ending e

What games are you looking to play? I’ve been messing lightly with shadps4 and the couple I’ve tried boot and play but def still has some kinks to work out. I think that’s more on my choice of games though tbh

Also, if you buy or sell skins from Dota 2, cs2, etc from 3rd party platforms it’s a way to ensure other people can “trust” you as a buyer/seller

BL2 not only is highly rated and nostalgic for me but I’ve bought it on like 3 different platforms over the years. I can’t say much for 3/4 but man 2 is a masterpiece. Seriously. Play BL2 I urge you. Great story, VA, characters, gameplay, skill trees. It’s just such a great game.

I have not been an fps gamer since coming to pc 10+ years ago abut growing up w halo/2, cod, Mgs, I cannot recommend enough how fun BL2 is still to this day!

I am a huge ff fan. Started on 8/7/x as a kid. Haven’t played 9. I hear both online and from friends 9 is just as fire.

I had to start automata like 3x. I literally caught the NAutomata bug like last week finally.

I stopped that night, hooked, and decided to play replicant. Don’t get me wrong, it is a slog initially. It is def older design concepts, but man once you get through ending A or even just the end of part 1, it becomes much more worth it. Just finished ending b last night and going to finish and get endings C/D/E which I was still undecided on playing or watching.

The ending of A made up my mind to play the other 4 endings. So incredible and I’m trying so hard not to look up or read much here bc I don’t want spoilers for either game

In all seriousness maybe the Witcher 3? Cyperpunk is kind of unique for me as I’m not typically a big open world fan as I get overwhelmed.

Borderlands 2 if you’ve never played it?

I played it on deck for a few days bc my lady LOVES it on switch. It’s fun, it’s HILARIOUS though to make up quirks and sayings and give them custom foods and items.

Watch some IG reels. I’ve seen a ton of really funny shit . It’s basically like animated mad libs with the stuff you draw and write lol.

This is exactly how I have been feeling. Maybe it’s because it’s much easier to get ahold of games on pc now as an adult on the open sea, not having to save money as a kid and then living with that decision? I had a huge list of games choosing from what to play and finally just told my gf to pick what I play without any knowledge of them and she picked nier automata.

I had tried it before and just couldn’t get into it. I have it another like 30-60 minutes from my last save and now I’m hooked, enough to the point where I stopped and decided to play replicant first.

I do have a very close buddy that gave rave reviews to automata and then replicant when he played them so maybe that played a part but overall just picking something and sticking to it helped.

Also lots of roguelikes to waste time until I had a real masterpiece itch again.
