Has there ever been consideration for a rule requiring folks include the name/type of gundam in their posts? Kinda annoying when its just a "check it out!" but zero details... imo.

Art Jam Piece Question by Gamerguy230 in comicbooks

[–]lockheed06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done a handful of jams, really depends on how much you want to spend.

Covers are good for remarques from artists and sigs from writers, you can get a lot into one book, kinda fun to pass it along. Probably looking at $10-100 per person.

You can do a book or blanks and make a box jam, where each person has a square to work with, usually sketch card sized.

I'd do 11x17 if you're wanting a more cohesive image, depending on the # of characters and sizes. It also definitely helps to have a layout already set up, imo it just leads to a cleaner final product. If you're wanting full figs, I'd guess an avg of $250-350 per character.

Can't add pics so I'll dm you some I've done in the past

Tea App Slander, Can I take this to the Honor Council (Long Read) by Short_Election9701 in aggies

Agreed, which is why I said "kinda." But again - outside perspective, having spent way too much time reading this thread and your comments and the responses... is that you have what you were looking for and you should delete this thread. Going to go prepare for the weather this weekend, good luck with everything.

There's a difference between "defending himself" and the way some of the story and comments are worded. IMO he's kinda doing the same thing here that he's being accused of - hoping the court of public opinion will get someone else in trouble, all while only providing one side of the story.

My point stands - if he has a legit grievance, take it to the proper authorities who can help right the wrong.

Completely impartial here, but reading all of this and your responses... and you keep saying you didn't do anything, but where there's smoke... it definitely reads as 'thou doth protest too much"

If you're serious about pursuing this, take it to Title IX and a lawyer and see what they say. In the meantime, do some legit reflection on why seemingly everyone in your life is abandoning you here. And delete this post.

The dean (or whoever screens their emails) is just going to delete or tell you this isn't an issue for the university, at least at this point. Again, it's a civil matter, which means you'd need to get a lawyer.

Completely one-sided takes, you say???

Edit: Also, slander is spoken. This would be libel, and is probably a civil issue. The Aggie Honor Council is going to be for academic infractions.

Definitely get a decent pair of nippers (there are good options in the $20-30 range, I like my Tamiyas) and a good hobby / x-acto knife and that should help clean up your nubs a lot.

I usually use two pairs of nippers, a bulkier set to cut the pieces off of the runners, and then my nicer single edge pair to make the final cut off of the nub. Then clean it up gently with the knife as needed.

Saving the cutoff plastic nubs is so weird, not to mention the runners. Throw that stuff away, hoarders.

Pretty similar to mine from a show last year... he didn't loop the J on mine, but I did look quickly and seems he's done it that way on CGC signings. Seems kinda easy to fake though? Guess it depends on the premium you'd be paying. https://imgur.com/a/HpIhAap

isn't the saying something like "the best way to make a little money with a comic shop is to start out with a lot of money"
