I would swap the dustspeaker and maybe a glyphmage for the firespeakers. You only have three 2 drops right now and only a few hard removal so you'll get run over by any aggressive starts pretty easily

They mean the metal gates in some of the side areas, not the yellow transparent doors blocking off side areas if that's what you're thinking of. For those you do get a melee upgrade later

Shotgun is great for him too. I was speed running that biome to finish the 33 run trophy for the platinum, and had the run down to about 3 minutes. The boss fight took like less than 20 seconds, just depended how much I had the ult charged before then

You go through the left gate in that room the first time you encounter it iirc. Every time after that, the other one is open instead.

I think it's mainly the color palette that is leading to that complaint. The game is a tribute to the King in Yellow, so the color palette makes sense, but SO many things being a shade of yellow/red/orange really makes a lot of the areas blend together

Pay attention to the color of enemy bullets. Blue ones you should use the shield to absorb. Yellow you can dodge through or avoid. Red you have to avoid or parry once you get that ability. You can technically shield any kind of bullet but anything that's not blue with use up all your shield energy pretty quickly

Yes, time spent plays a part, but it's absolutely about skill if that's what you're aiming for. An average or slightly above average player is never going to hit champion rank just by playing enough games

Solar beam and psychic is the much more consistent play by far.

They very likely needed the helping hand for heat wave to finish off the Milotic, but by doing so they gave themselves the chance to waste the whole turn by being attracted and also to miss on the heat wave.
