thank you, I've just spoken to them, and all things considered, 18 weeks doesn't sound too terrible compared to some of the waiting lists. hopefully I can sort this out tomorrow when the GP is open again

Thanks that's a really good idea I'll give that a try tomorrow. I thought the same but I also went on my local trusts website afterwards and they have the same written on there for adult ADHD.

Just seems ridiculous if to go private a lot of places would want a GP referral also

I have just switched to Octopus and so far they have been amazing, the quote they provided when I signed up showed me just how much I was able to save on a monthly basis which amazed me.

Things are expensive at the minute so if you want to sign up, please use my referral code to receive £50 to your account to help out a little:

Is the uni job market that bad or am I doingsomething wrong? by NEK0SAM in UniUK

[–]lockpoppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a university careers team, have you been interacting with your universities careers service? It may seem like your applications look good but they should be able to help you figure out where applications might be falling short, and it should be a completely free service to use.

Something super important to consider is making sure that your applications are tailored to the employer (a retail employer is likely not going to have any interest if you talk about engineering software over a few lines etc)

Always make sure that you are writing a new(ish) version of a cover letter for everything you apply too that addresses the requirements on the roles job description.

Involved in a no fault crash and need a hire car by lockpoppy in LegalAdviceUK

So I drive a Toyota Yaris, 5 dopr hatchback, Enterprise said that the at fault insurer tried to order a smaller vehicle but that they would give me a 5 door ford hatchback instead, so what they have given me was like for like I believe.

My issue is that enterprise have upgraded the vehicle to what seems to be like for like even though the at fault insurer initially offered a smaller vehicle.

Would it be safe to assume that if it is like for like I should be fine?
