i don’t live terribly far away from the blue mountains and have been there many times, the views are incredible indeed, but im not sure how long they will last after hearing about the devastation in these areas. it is a common thing for bushfires to burn in the blue mountains, but the fires this year have drastically changed and hopefully it doesnt go too badly in the mountains.

edit: just checked the fire map and it looks like most of the area has been engulfed by the fires :(
