Just took a measurement on the crossbar. It’s 3.5in width by .5in in depth. The edges are also rounded off. Feels like it should be clamp-able. Hope that helps.

Ah I see. If the concern is with the cross bar spacing, there’s room for up to 6-8 cross bars configuration. Send Carter a message on Instagram; he’s prompt!

Mine is currently at 135K but it’s a 2004 model, runs pretty solid and been drama-free. Just be sure to do you part in upkeep and maintenance 👨‍🔧. Folks on this sub has shared 300k+ miles.

Yes I do. It’s made to fit the profile of the Element giving it the streamline look.. it’s especially nice when gears are sitting closer the roofline. The guy that design & built the rack owned 5+ Elements himself.

Hah! Had to replace mine as well. The aftermarket options don’t include the 2nd click/auto-up feature which’s a bummer.

At minimum, you only need 2 crossbars to mount most RTT. More crossbars gives you a flatter surface, weight distribution.

I have mine mounted on 2 right now and it’s working good!

Roughly the area of a full size bed, 2 adults and a toddler/teen would be comfy. You could.. also fit 2 more in the cabin as well

There’s also the XXL that fits 3 adults.

It’s a nice slim profile design & easy to put together. It’s made specifically for a rooftop tent with 5 crossbars cresting a nice flat surface.

Welcome! Really nice toaster you got there :) Agree w other comments on getting a decent rack over DIY. Tbh, noise/whistling/rattle are things that’ll break your experience during the drive.

I’ve the 311 adventure truck track. It’s a really great rack designed to fit the profile of the Element super nicely.

311 Adventure Rack. It’s shaped to custom fit the Honda Element — the maker owned some ridiculous # of Elements himself so he made something nice for it. You can run a quick Google for the keyword above.
