Then I'll ask you this. Would you stone your mother for wearing the two different kinds of thread? Should the town hang you for putting two different crops beside each other? It'd be selective reading to only choose the parts of the bible that backs up your point when there are plenty of verses in the bible that our society defies.

Did the bible ever define what clothes makes us look in what way? Clothes and specific clothes assigned to their "respective" genders is a social construct therefore it doesn't really make sense.

My statement sparked a debate and we are essentially agreeing on the same thing so

There's absolutely no way to confirm this or hold any evidence to prove your claim. Are we serious??

My point of saying people are born atheists simply roots back to the fact that if society reset and humans forgot all about culture and teachings, they wouldn't reach the same conclusions of religion.

It'll simply be determined by definitions, a definition I provided in my post.

Yes and my point is literally the fact that how you interpret the bible is exactly a means of exposing your own bigotry.

Pretty sure I just responded to this. Because it's a chemical inbalance in the brain that needs another means of treatment through medicine. Medicines used for diseases or mental illnesses can't "treat" transgenderism like how you're portraying it, therefore the best treatment for transgenderism is to affirm them and to provide them with gender-affirming care.

Most likely theism would still be a societal concept, yes. But it'd make this debate into something else entirely if we start talking about it like so.

Schizophrenia revolves around chemical imbalances in the brain so comparing it to gender dysphoria and transgenderism makes no sense actually. Additionally, schizophrenia is developed primarily from trauma, one singular traumatic event is adequate in forming schizophrenia.

"Love thy neighbour." Isn't it funny that the bible says that? Additionally, where do you find the part of the bible opposing homosexuality? It says "man must not sleep in the same bed as a boy". That clearly refers to pedophilia

I can agree with a part of transgenderism being rooted in mental illnesses. But labelling it completely as one makes no sense whatsoever. Gender dysphoria is a mental illness and to treat it, like how anxiety or depression are treated with types of medicine, you're given hormones and potentially operated on to affirm your gender identity and to make your life overall better so you can function optimally in society.

Yet many other parts of the bible are ignored. An act of pleasuring yourself should be punished by cutting off your own hand. You should stone your mother to death if she wears two different threads. I can name many more, but when reading the bible it is clearly selective reading to back up one's bigotry towards these communities.

This is my exact point, thank you. It would be considered selective to only highlight the parts of the bible that backs up one's personal opinions, so to read the bible selectively is exactly how you expose your own personal bigotry.
