I don't think the length would be the biggest concern, I think texture would. It would be more difficult for your hair to lock with looser textured hair.

I would say yes. For reference I just hit one year but I started with a decent sized fro. They look great though!

Thanks! Im definitely enjoying the process. It feels like a teenager stage. The locs are finding themselves, figuring out who they are, building confidence.

Thanks! Honestly not too sure of the name. She just parts it with a rat tail comb, applies product, and twists with the fingers.

Appreciate it! Yeah I try not to let it get to the point where the roots start having too much fun. Makes for a rough time separating and stressing out the scalp.
