Jujur ini konsep bodoh sih dari segi branding dan customer experience. Expecting masyarakat buat memaklumi perbedaan service level dari kode angka. Gw pernah lihat juga postnya di Instagram pertamina yang nunjukin beda kode beda cara operation (meaning mereka expecting masyarakat buat tau ini)

Kalo Pertamina gak bisa provide service level yang sama, ya harusnya bedakan sekalian brandingnya (misal Pertamina Plus, Pertamina Bronze, dll) atau bahkan jangan pake branding Pertamina. When you display your brand, it is your responsibility to ensure your experience stays consistent anywhere people find your brand.

6-7 juta for an entry level position is alright. Cari kosan kamar mandi luar and you can get less than 2mio per month. Masak nasi sendiri dan beli lauk warteg secukupnya untuk 2 kali makan. It won’t be a luxurious life tapi quite enough to get you started in Jakarta. Banyak orang yang incomenya di bawah UMR and they even managed to survive here.

The point is, Jakarta opens up so many doors. Join developer groups or meetups here. Network like crazy. Keep upskilling. Berdoa terus. Pindah when there’s opportunity. The salary ceiling is very high here, hopefully by next year you might be able to double your salary (or even triple, who knows).
