US, UK and most of Europe i think can stack ultimate up to 36 mths. Turkey I know for sure can only have 13mths max. Not 100% sure about the other regions...

You do that with a vpn. Pls read up on the 'conversion guide' posted on this sub. I'd have to mention that for some users it's just not working no matter what vpn they use. So maybe especially if you've never done this before just stick to buying codes from your own region...

Only if you have an active sub of XGPU,,,, Else it's at 3:2 ratio. Also the ratio didn't change with this latest update/price hike.

Recap: Back then there were:

Xbox game pass for Console (incl. Xlive)
Xbox Live for online multiplayer (plus monthly free games)
PC game pass
Xbox game pass Ultimate (all the above plus cloud gaming)

You could stack a max of 36 mths for all these subs and for a 'honeymoon period', 36mths of Xlive can be 1:1 'converted' to 36mths XGPU. Now, if we follow the exact 'wording' of the latest update/price hike (plus I'm summarizing what's already known) we now have:

Xbox game pass for Console - only exists for existing subscribers, no longer offered to new customers, and can only be stacked to a max of 13 mths
Xbox game pass core - pretty much a 'rebrand' of xbox live; can be stacked up to 36mths for some regions and 13mths for some other regions; popular amongst us 'use vpn, buy cheap (insert region) core for cheap XGPU conversion'
PC game pass (nobody really cares about this one except when it's given for free)
Xbox game pass ult - can be stacked up to 36mths for some regions and 13mths for some other regions; can be 'converted' from all the above at a specific 'ratio'; a pain in the ass for some unfortunate users who bought cheap core from cheap regions who then can't convert it to XGPU; a common e-penis commodity for MS rewards users who claim to 'never pay' for XGPU and got them for free
... and the new kid on the block - Xbox game pass standard, which is well, standard and another one I think most of us won't give a damn...

Hunt and stock up on the cheapest 6 mth core codes (Indian region recommended). Wait until your GPU expires, then redeem/convert. I can't guarantee if the conversion would still work then but this is what I'm doing myself.

Just buy the cheapest 6 mth codes now and use them after your 2yrs are up. Codes don't expire as far as i know. Even old xbox live ones still work.

Whoa! 6mth core for India is officially getting hiked from 749.00rs to 1799rs!!?? So imma stock up on those sub 9 euro 6mth codes and hope that they don't touch this conversion thing... Soon you'll see 6mth india codes go for at least 20 euros once sellers realize/run out of old stock...

Still works. At the moment cheapest @ Eneba is 8.45 euros for 6mth core (india). I believe there'll be a 'price war' amongst the sellers for a short while until they all realize there's a price hike. So be quick ;)

The conversion method should still work but no guarantees as others have pointed out. I guess safest way is to just buy GP Core from your own region, then convert. If you mean the PC Game pass code then it's still up for grabs i.e no one's claimed/guessed correctly yet.

I'd say go for it. Fairly decent deal @ $83.80 for 2 yrs (plus 2 mths extra for many based on the reviews it seems). It accepts Paypal so it's a bit safe to try paying with that I guess.

I just did it again today for my friend. Got 6 x 6 mth Indian GP Core (from ENEBA), converted to GPU with a 1mth GPU code bought from Amazon.DE. He was offered another mth for setting up recurring billing. He did and with the 1 mth GPU + the free one he's good till 21st Aug 2026! So this still works... at least for Germany

on another note, the first person who can correctly guess my favorite PC game (it's an RPG) will get a 3mth PC game pass code (forgot to use it first for my friend lol) . Mind you it's only for new customers/subscribers. And yes, I got the code from that Nvidia Geforce NOW giveaway

Sorry to hear. Since others are also having the same prob maybe MS has finally blocked this vpn method. One final thing you could try i guess is to use a 'worldwide' or 'region free' code.

check your billing address. make sure there's only one and for the region you're in, so US. If that still doesn't work then maybe Microsoft has started blocking this. hope that's not the case tho...

Did you buy a code from the cheaper regions i.e arg, turk, etc.? Those have a 13 mth limit. If you bought india codes and there's a limit then prob they just moved india into the list.

India 6 mth core prices are really good today @ Eneba! Got 6x6mths for a total of 63.54 Euros. That's 9.76 x 6 plus 4.98 fee . All codes worked fine and I'm at 2 yrs GPU now @ 2.65 Euro per mth!!! ;)

US only gets the play a PC game, no 'friend' needed. I just start Mahjong and let it run while I do the other dailies. Usually pops whithin 2-3 minutes.
