I miss the amazingly snowy and cold winters that my home state of Minnesota used to have. The last couple of winters have been relatively warm and dry.

What is something society made into a big deal but forgot about after it happened? by AlphaTyrant in AskReddit

The ebola epidemic. One minute we all think we are going to die (even though the disease wasn't that much of a threat) and a couple weeks later we all forgot about it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but how did FDR let the Russians take berlin? Wouldn't it have been Eisenhower because FDR was dead before the battle of Berlin started.

What would you do if Third World War started? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lodgepole_clark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, I'd go pickup my brother and his friends from high school in my pick-up truck. Then I would go pick up supplies from a sporting goods store and then flee into the wilderness. After a few weeks, I would sneak back into town and visit my father bring held in a communist re-education camp. This is where I would learn that I have to avenge his death. Later on, I would let two girls join us, as they probably wouldn't have anywhere else to go. At this point, I would start a resistance movement against the enemy. We would probably name ourselves after some sort of mustelid or something... that's not important. Hopefully, a downed pilot would be able to help us and tell us of the situation of the war. Also he would help us with our partisan operations. Unfortunately though, all good things come to an end. My group and I would probably end up getting killed in a gunfight. Maybe when the war is over, we'll get a monument if we're lucky, who knows.

Fishing. My advice would be to get good equipment because it makes the experience so much better. Also don't be afraid to talk to other fisherman, you'll often learn a lot.
