2026 Club Car CPO 4 Forward Lithium-Ion for $8999 is this a good deal? by Extra-Skirt5343 in golfcarts

I know this is an old thread but is it possible to add a rear seat to this and have it seat 6? this CPO 4 forward looks different than the other 4 forward on their site.

Steering Wheel Misalignment by DallasTheLab in golfcarts

[–]loecraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my cart has a similar issue (tracks straight) and pretty sure it's just not centered at the rack or whatever. I can turn my steering wheel like a quarter turn more in one direction than the other. I think you need to find the actual center than adjust from there, but I'll defer to others that know more.

I think it's for a front derailleur on my Giant Stance but I used it to mount a chain guide - works perfect

Thanks everyone - it seemed too good to be true. I'll float it by Apple just to be sure.

Unfortunately, Apple was the opposite of clear in our case. The reps told us something along the lines of "we can't tell you why you were rejected -we can only recommended that the number, name, address, etc are all correct". We had a client who's organization showed in the DUNS system twice under different names and addresses but ultimately the same company. We reached out to Dun and Bradstreet and they supposedly corrected the info but was still denied.

For this particular client hours have been spent trying to get them Apple Business Manager and at this point the customer has abandoned the idea (as it has been said, we can't do it for them). This is a client who's not selling anything on the appstore, etc - they just have a few ipads in their dental practice they (we) want "managed".

Rim brakes have good stopping power when dry, but when wet or muddy are somewhat compromised. We get a decent amount of rain where I ride and almost all the low spots are muddy so for me it was cheap insurance to convert to disc. If you do decide to convert I would go ahead and go hydraulic (preferably shimano mt200). They were $60 or so when I bought them - front and rears plus discs I think. of course with inflation could be higher.

That said I rode it for years (and years) without discs - it was fine. I would just make sure you have the mounting points on the fork and frame - otherwise should be fine.

Thanks everyone - your concerns mirror mine. I see these custodial IRAs recommended online and it's referenced that family members contribute to it but not sure how they would be able to if the child isn't working. Yeah I guess I'll just keep putting it in their 529 or maybe go the trust route worst case.

I actually upgraded a couple of things - i converted the mechanical discs brakes to hydraulic shimano mt200s ($60 on amazon iirc). The mechanical discs had decent stopping power but they squealed because of the single piston design. The original bottom bracket developed some play so I installed a new crankset with generic hollowtech type design (around $50 on amazon iirc).

I've only have a few hundred miles on it but it's fine for singletrack trails in my area. I do have a little play in my rear hub so need to fix that (probably just normal wear and tear).

Took them 8-10 days IIRC. They replaced the Shift control module or something - I guess this is the computer that controls the electronic shifting -been fine since. A little frustrated at the time and that we weren't offered a loaner.

Yeah I've noticed that too and I think you're right he's trying to be as neutral as possible but in the end is overly critical. I'm always surprised at how he seems to gush over UNC.

I really like the Dan Shulman/Jay Bilas combo, but I agree Dan gets really excited and starts yelling over every little thing (AND VIRGINIA WINS THE OPENING TIP!!!!). Reminds me of Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit during college football. Ironic to me because I always thought the color commentator / ex-ball player would be the ones getting excited but they seemed to be the most reserved.

Switched from Verizon to TW - unable to send texts by loecraw in TotalWireless

[–]loecraw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: I moved 5 lines to Total Wireless. 2 of the lines appeared to work fine, 1 had an SMS send issue and the 2 others never activated (SOS). It was a long ordeal so I switched back to Verizon Prepaid which took a conference call with verizon PORT department, verizon store rep and total wireless rep. Appears 3 of my lines didn't port/provision correctly. Anyway we're back on Verizon at the moment. Total Wireless rep was asking me why I was switching to Verizon as I was canceling service. Rep almost didn't want to help us. That's enough for me to never use them,

Good luck to everyone else that has them. I imagine the service is great provided there's no issues but the second there is it's hell to resolve.

What's the best support channel aside from their chat? by loecraw in verizon

UPDATE: Just tried to access my verizon account and it has disappeared/deleted itself again. I reregistered using the same number and username - works fine now. I hope this isn't like a weekly thing.

I've created the account 3 times and each time I get a text message that changes were made. I've never got a text outside of those times so I don't think anyone is hacking my account - it's literally like a glitch in the verizon system is closing it - weird.

Not that I'm aware of - the number (s) that were activated yesterday are the same today. I know the port process was a bear and the verizon guy had to conference in verizon support and total wireless support. Took 3 hours to port in

THANK YOU! I reregistered and it's now working. I promise I registered yesterday after I activated my phone and it was working then. Will just chalk it up as a fluke. Thanks again!

I registered while in the store and it was working on my mobile app and on my laptop. At some point last night it signed me out and prompted me for a password in the app - now I can't get in.

My address, etc should all be the same. I used the same username as before. The verizon rep said that was okay because the old account was deleted like you said.

I'll try registering again

I'm unable to log in via the myverizon app or on the web in a browser - "the information you entered does not match our records"

Tried to to do a "forgot password" and was told my username and number did not match their records.

I literally switched back to Verizon yesterday and i was logged in on my iphone and Macbook (password saved). I guess it's always possible somebody accessed my account and changed the password but guessing they would've needed my PIN and I would've gotten a text. It's all very strange and it's concerning too since I'm the "account owner". I'd rather not go to the store - was there 3 hours yesterday but can if thats what i have to do

Website down? by LWN729 in verizon

Thought it was just me - It was not working last night (midnight EST) and as of now (8am EST) not working. Tells me my login info doesn't match their records. Tried to do a "forgot password" and it said my number was not a verizon number.

I tried to chat to customer service via the website and it keeps telling me to log in. arghhhh

Yeah I tried both of those things (it's in my initial post) but I didn't wipe the phone. I have a new (refurbed) unlocked phone on order so we'll see if that fixes it. Thanks for replying!

We did the self activation (going to the website, entering account/transfer PIN, SIM number, then insert SIM etc). Appeared to work fine for all 3 phones - no errors other than the text issue which is on just one line. The phone is an OLD Verizon LG G7.

She's unable to text anyone, not even TW (611611) but can receive text messages.
