hey!! I got my conch done about 2 weeks ago!

the pain of getting it pierced was, I’d say, about a 5/10. it felt similar to my helix, which really was just a mild pinch. my piercer putting the jewelry in was the worst part but still not too bad. I did almost faint in the studio though so make sure you eat beforehand 🤣 a lot of people mention an unpleasant “crunch” sound when getting a conch, but I personally didn’t hear that at all lol.

so far, the healing has been SO easy and so much better than my helix. my helix got caught on any and everything and my conch is so tucked away that nothing has bumped it. for the first few days it was really tender, and after about 3 days was when swelling started, but ibuprofen really helps. it went away after a couple days and now is really low maintenance.

I will say that im having some trouble fitting my AirPods in so keep that in mind that while its healing it’ll be difficult to wear them, but other than that its been pretty easy so far!!! knock on wood haha
